i can give you eta, but there are many things that may and most likely will change it. and you will come back saying that we don't meet the promised deadline, won't you?
i think it's better for everyone to have one reliable date and make plans according to it.

i'm pretty sure that most of the players would rather pay 5-6 euros (or more) to play on server without pay2win shop, rather than vice versa.

 

if you open a classic server is only for one reason: call to the ppl on private servers with old chronicles

but you need to know, all of this ppl only play because the private servers are f2p (and all private servers have shop for p2w

i know high population of private servers cant pay mensuality but can pay some items with low prices like 0,15-1€

 

i remember how the ncwest servers were looking like (including the european one), when l2 was p2p. it was empty! there probably will be some nostalgic months, but a game should evolve, otherwise it become boring. i wonder how many enthusiasts will leave core for this. i am not one of them. i live now, not in the past. gl to those who will join it, see you in 6 months in lfg thread or something.

 

actually the peak of population on ncwest happend during p2p times so your point is kinda invalid. old l2 and new l2 are completely different things and extremely different play styles, ones shouldn't really worry about others also, in my oppinion, it will bring plenty of players if it isn't here for sure on russian classic servers so it's sort of a wise move from innova.

 

trust me, there was no peak in 2009. i couldn't find a party for anything at any level. server was empty. if p2p was successful why it changed to f2p? it's all about the money in our world. game industry is not an exception.

 

2009 that was gf, wasn't ? one of the best times out there. i wonder what servers you are talking about because it makes no sense to me, anyways we are sort of going off topic.

and to answer your question, because they changed their business model, rather have people paying for stuff ig (micro-payments) than pay a monthly fee, f2p is simply an ilusion, everyone is paying in the end.

they don't play there because they are f2p, official is also f2p , so use common sense. they play there because they like older chronicles and yes, you are right, they are the real target of l2classic. people that vigiourosly defend god+ gameplay wouldn't last for more than a week on l2classic and they should stick to their god gameplay and leave this topic.

 

who is making propaganda about l2classic can tell me what was better? drops and craft. and? class balance was horrible, grind was horrible, leveling a char was horrible, also making high end stuffs was horrible. we all think old time was good but we forgot it was good cuz we were younger and all of our old friends were playing. that's all mostly.
