NCSOFT will open a classic server

- pvp was better
- crafting/getting items was much better
- no instances and easy exp/items in any way
- no p2w shop that was introduced in god era

and i'm telling this from my perspective and other players that wants to play classic. once again i repeat, if you don't like classic, don't post here, go play god+ and stay away from the topic. i don't understand how some people can be so stubborn - they don't want to play classic, but that's not enough - they also want to tell other players not to play it. well , i've got some news for you - not everyone thinks the same.

 

dunno if this was answered already but the l2 classic servers in korea are just an event and not servers which will be opened permanently or am i wrong? at least thats what i read.
so how long will this event last? more than 1 year?

 

you are wrong. it's the real server(s), it started as event (2 weeks of free playing at their classic), and their initial plan was to develop it in three phases, last one ending in late 2015. russian innova already announced opening of their servers, they opened new forum for this occasion, they setup prices/features of the server, and their server will be opened sooner than eu innova.

 

you realise l2classic means prelude ? how can you find pvp where you only have might shield and focus with only enough mana for 4 spells better ?

once these classic servers will start reaching c4 & up then maybe we'll be able to talk about how much better the pvp actually is to what we have now.
the only thing that was better during prelude & other early chronicles was that ppl didnt know **** about the game, and thus had a better community.

 

any source that they wont end this "event" after the third stage? (maybe from korean server? though my korean aint that great :d )
and opening a special forum etc for an event server isnt a hint for making it a permanent server. its a big event so ofc the setup will be big too.

watched some streams of ppl playing on those classic servers.
all i thought about was "damn, im so spoiled with features. i couldnt play it like this anymore". some ppl will still love it but i think a lot of ppl will also give up very fast.

 

no it does not mean prelude. l2classic consists of three phases: first phase is mixed content of c1-c2, second and third phases were mentioned slightly at korean off sites, but s grade items were mentioned and they will be either part of phase 2 or phase 3.

@yolai - it doesn't matter what koreans will do, because files were developed. will classic be succesful in int community is up for the debate, but it will be very successful in russian community (check their forums and you will get the picture) which means russians will leave them opened as long as they produce money.

 

which mean at least 8+ month stuck with boring chronicles. i don't see how anyone can be looking forward to play on the first phase, even back then it was pretty boring.

 

it will be fail of innova, the players are getting older, nobody has got time to spend 12h daily for exping and etc. people in god complain how hard is to get items, and you expect them to play in classic?
l2 classis is 2 year event in korean server.

 

serious clans and players left god circus long time ago. people that are complaining about god are not the people that l2classic is aiming for.

 

so far it always mattered for innova what koreans do.
also, just cause it will maybe popular in russia it doesnt mean it will be a success for eu/na.
just a few days ago i read an article that a lot of mmo's wont get released in na/eu because the player base is totally different than asian/russian base. therefore im still sceptical if the eu server would reach the third stage of this l2 classic.

 

and i share your concerns. the thing is that most of l2classic haters mix these two things and therefore i'm pretty sure many serious players would go to play on ru innova rather than here.

i dont understand this ppl, if you dont like l2classic, its simple: ignore it.

 

that l2classic pvp video not just boring but ridiculous anyway. but enjoy your classic server for 1 month here. probably won't stay long here in eu. we are not l2classic haters cuz we all played in older chronicles but compared with god that l2classic just seems a joke. as nyweris said god+ pvps are much more intense and enjoyable.

 

some quit before god, because in hi5 was nothing to do. 85 100. 3x80 vorpal or vesper noble set. weapon +7 or more. and what to do? some action only every 2 week.s dragons + tw/cs. thats all. once had arranged clan vs clan in hellbound. and i htink thats all. i'm not talking about cp cc based stuff like freya/frint and soi.

 

maybe they're coming here to telll they're opinions?unless u feel "lineage2:king" to tell otherwise
besides that i hope l2 classic gonna come here too and last long i would like to try

 

no 1 is asking there opinion ...
they say -we dont like /ok i can live with it -but dont do it again and again ( omg it so boring/stupid/not relaxing).
and thread is basicly done to inform ppl about it not to spamm off topicks -so if you have any info share it or stfu and let others ppl to do it.
