i personaly don't think people will really play on this kind of server. they will try, maybe play for short time but then they will just stop. old players are gone i doubt they will now play again like in the past, when we all was younger, with more time. and since this server wont be for short - time players ...

1) go make on lvl 40 2% in 1 hour and then die once and u will lose your 2 hours ;p
2) drop rate in these clasic servers are 1/6 what was in past during those updates so trust me, it was already hard to get shots so many years ago but now with only 1/6 drop rate it is worse than terrible
3) 9 ppl in party and u needed to keep sws / bd / ee / bish / wc. so many support classes, gl to finiding them, not boxing xddd

yes and no. u will not run out from donators. instead of selling l2store they will simply buy adena on black market but i agree, recently l2store update is more than ******ed, cause putting dragon bottles, orfens, aq, baiums simply destroy any purpose for big clans to keep farming them

well true, but with all disadvantages of old update i think it shouldnt be like this. simply god update should be rebuilded to become more like classic server, but already interview with koreans proved nothing rly will change except new instances in next update.

also i dont know guys why u missing pvp from these time? pressing f1 and f2 on most classes was so exciting? cause basicly classes in these time were nothing more. overal in l2 was never even close to balance but best dynamic pvp started actualy after god. before it was usualy 3-5 butons spam nothing more.

 

for me god is just full of nonsense, tanks with 50% reflect(or even more) tyrrs being unkillable keg of hp, stacked healers dealing more damage than nukers, pvp all about aoe skills. i just loved the time when cc party could make possible winning against double numbers.

maybe this pvp looks simple, but on later levels positioning, setup, crowd control will matter and then it will be the essence of l2 pvp for me. also i saw some pvp videoes from korea and drawing conclusions i think that their priority isnt to exp, it is to have pvp/fun.

prolly im used to that there are some classes for solo pvp, mass pvp, olympiad and im totally fine with that.

we also cannot forget that l2 classic is in its early stage, and some rates/things need to be fixed, like the 1/6 adena drop from original c1. have you already forgot how god was in beggining?

 

god definiatly changed the game into some different game. if there was a company like inova, ncsoft of any other gaming company that would bring l2 hi5 with some moderated / player friendly xp and drop tables i would 100% for sure leave god for what it is.
unfortunately this l2 version you'll only find from some crappy l2 private servers.

yep, it was always nice targets for me and amethyst to hit aoe. at least some heavy hp stacked tyrs where not dying after 1-2 sec...

well i dont wanna argue with you, they will probably open this server anyway and u will see how much u were wrong. time has changed, now players need something more from game than primitive spamming f1 and f2. lets speak in few / several months or whenever they will open this server : )

wynn summoner were useful even on pvp and not just pve bot they are now. archers were imo pretty balanced, maybe they did a bit too much dmg during br but that was it. mages were good but not op. tyrr and othell were a bit underpowered but that was it in term of balance.
7v7 wise pvp were centered about spotting a mistake in opponent's play and exploiting it instead of bursting someone down in matter of seconds, but i'll agree that 7v7 were a bit too long if the opponents made few mistake or knew how to catch up from one.

and i don't think i need to talk about how to get items, everyone was able to compete to at least a decent level even against "top" parties.

maybe it's nostalgia talking but early god pvp was the most balanced pvp i ever played in l2. the only thing it needed to be perfect was a little damage boost on melee, nerf the damage boost archers received under br and the reset of tokens when someone died we have now to prevent camping.

 

i would say in glory days was laready better. unfortunately if they nerfed some op another underpower became op. neverending story in l2 cause these guys living in some world...

 

l2 classic is wrong way, don't kill core yet!

i still dont understand the hype about l2 classic srs
to me it looks like nerfed god version w/o lvl 85-99 content smth smth with even worse drop rates than god atm.
l2 was fun bcz of drama/community not bcz of game version and this comes from some1 who has been grinding this game since c1 times.
anyway for those who will play l2c,gl with grinding w/o shots and d grade equip till lvl 52 must be mucho fun doing same stuff over and over and expecting different results every time.

 

p2p server. hardcore grinding and more ! perfect. a lot lot kids will stay away. server without kids is so nice.! its about playing a game. not finishing a game ( sandbox game = no end). gn

about amc we entered for fun. we lost. we didnt changed our cp format cause we didnt cared. easy. btw why you qqing in forum again ? you saying your clan rules and keep qqing ? emo just emo .^^

 

i played older chronicles. thanks god u found work straight after amc, troll should be interesting and hard. self called top naia eu world group played on amc 90 seconds at all .
when i joined ba, crp status was 13k and never went higher. so yes, few times in some close areas u made adena pictures around us, but we made adena pictures around your bodies 7k more times, so?
real pvp value u should see on amc. u was just barking dog hidden behind zerg. ur grps value alarion 2nd best core grp, kserw 30s material, bimart grp 34sec material etc...

nice u have screens from beleth, do u have 7 000 screenshots from ur dies? u still somehow forget u won pvp from time to time in some close areas, but still overall status was in that time + 7000 for us.

about amc, unfortunatelly core community was forced to see that shamefull act 3 times. 3*30 seconds = 90 seconds.

 

this is so patethic most serious pvp in last months happen on forum not in game... so little effort to organise some pt vs pt but still ppl prefer to bark and show their e-pen instead of simply go and fight with other cps / parties... topic nr 1 atm who using game mechanic better on 40 lvl and 80 lvl chars. that sounds so awesome...

anyway i wish see this l2 classic, how or poor core losing even more ppl from already not too crowded server and how these nostalgic driven ppl emo rage quit after 1 month being on lvl 25 with no adena for no grade shots (1/6 of original drop rate, same as in erethia live server yo!) and beeing bored of pressing mostly f1 (sorry guys old updates were nothing more for 90% classes). i would say it is pretty win / win situation xdddd
