Reflect Damage ruins whole gameplay

    problem is that reflect ressist dont work like most ppl think
    lets say if opposite tank got 50% reflcet when i hit him for 2 000 dmg, i will recive 1000 dmg
    if i will get lets say 10% ressist reflect. so that do not make opposite tank got for me 40% reflect but if i hit him for 2000 dmg and i will get 1000 dmg then from that 1000dmg is subtracted 10% of my ressist. that give us 900 dmg. so reflect ressist kinda useless.
    this is just example to show how it is work.

    i was make some test of that, but that was really long time ago, on other chronicle. so maybe something get change. best if somone will get any test on epesodion/ertheia chronicle about that reflect ressist.

    not ruining gameplay, preveting players to attack like f1,f2,f3 random bots, its like "think before full attack", or "check ur target buffs"!!!

    you seem to be not reading. what you talk about is tank skill, i start topic about passive & active reflect augment which destroys what is so-called pvp when i die by reflected damage even though enemy deals like 5k damage...

    something should be done about it, capped it to some level (20%)...

    what about getting more reflect than the dmg itself ? funny game... not.

    as i wrote before - target who u were hitting had 75% and dwarf class active/pvp damage resistance items and propably transfer pain talisman. after counting everything it can be ~126% of reflect on full gear(my calculation can miss, but it is close to this result). and if u want to win with ones who have it - ask drizzt - he knows how to deal with it;3

    u can also have 50% reflect ressist through augment so its more than balanced, no need to say about dual class skill ressist reflect.

    it's not balanced it's messed. have 2 options then. go for reflect or for resist reflect. or 50-50 but that's still ****. not works like it should. they should keep that high reflect for da anyway. but even with that possibility to keep 2nd/3rd skills they even messed tanks btw. quite feel sad about l2 when i see pvp movies 3 mages, 4 healers, no tank, wtf is this game now? just wait for brooch system and others. there is no balance, never was, also ncsoft never goes for balance even if people are asking for that. since you have tons of options to build up your chars the game is messed more than before. in this way no point to argue about this reflect. tear will flow hard after the new update anyway because this game won't be any better.

    ncsoft's priority is to balance classes according to castle sieges, not according to the olympiad, since lineage 2 is about territorial possession, not memorization of spell rotations.

    yeah it's damn balanced when people are starting to reroll to mages keep old skills then change to necro, tanks started as da to keep reflect then change to other tank. party setup is like 3 healers more than take a tank. yeah i see this siege balance. whatever.

    when i watch fraps from russian server i haven't seen reroll on mages for arcana power, look at instinct.

    and about reflect, it's annoying, but there are some ways to weaken it like talisam hellfire, desire and longing.

    i ve seen archers in nc west with with +12-16 bows and 70%+ reflect ressist (augment/shirts/talisman) wiping uber tanks with full reflect items/skills, reflect ressist is working maybe not in the corect values x %, but its working, dont forget that the most attacks/ressists in l2 using dice system (in the backround), no skill/attack/ressist is 100% succeded even if ur items re more than this cap, anyway nc soft avoids to explain the correct values for years, maybe cos the data was written in messy ways from the very beginning.

    for ultra stacked weapon on ru/ncw better is to have more p.def/m.def for some time than additional m.atk coz u allready have lots of it. thats how lots of feohs play on naia/chronos.

    people seem to have an awful memory, tanks were useless for more than 10 chronicles.

    instinct probably never rerolled because he wanted to keep his pvp score.

    reflect caps at your p.def+shield p.def.

    for example, if you have 3000 p.def, you can't reflect more than 3000 dmg. (a little more if you have a shield)

    and the reflect resist counters the reflect itself.

    for example if someone has 40% reflect and you have 50% reflect resist, this means that he will reflect 50% of the original 40%= 20%.
    at least this is what my tests have shown.
