Reflect Damage ruins whole gameplay

    can't believe someone actually qq about reflect, i would say in this game is much more things what are killing pvp than reflect. yes, reflect is annoying inside olympiad, but in open pvp ... c'mon. for me are worse all those +++ shirts and other *** with rebirth, cele etc (some ppl can't wait for brooch, righ?) than reflect.

    for me it's the other way around.. i am perfectly fine with reflect in oly because classes that rely on it would be terrible without it.

    one thing i really hate with reflect is the fact that without reflect resist, any aoe in mass pvp as an archer will be rewarded with a 20k+ dmg reflect right in your teeth. and depending of the amount of people, can actually 1 shot you (it is the funniest death tho).

    having reflect will allow me to win you/seleniia 99% of the time in oly, but i think i still do good, even without it :p
    in mass pvp, there must be a price to be paid for dealing crazy amounts of damage, very fast. it doesn't bother me, because my damage is like ....dunno 3k per target ? that and having coc belt is actually huge difference. not sure how and why, but i am sure it's dmg reflect resist is not 5%.

    he said p def. magical defense works in another way with spike shield/shield deflect magic.

    still reflect is good when u have down times or stun cannot land, 20 secs unbind/10 secs disparation/aod with good stun jewels/celestials.

    there can be anything like this , it is possible to survive it, run etc but you cannot hide from reflected damage and it a butthurt when you die from your own damage while enemy deals 0 or close to 0 :d

    so all i should do is hit and than prey for 2min hide (olympiad case) ?:d

    i don't mean to be rude, but you could always avoid the olympiad, considering the type of players it attract. in fact, because of how predictable these players are, we're so lucky that we can calculate the failure probability of a clan at mass pvp with the following formula: d=(o*o/t)/t.

    o - members who participate in the olympiad
    t - total clan members
    d - the dumb

    you only want one of these types of players in your clan, tops, if anyone at all.

    eeeeeee... nope? checked it without shield and in d grade heavy armor (for hp bonus) and.... nope? xd still % value based on reflects, pvp dmg resist, transfer pain, and overall dmg reduction. only connection between reflect and pdef is during ultimate defense (more pdef there = more dmg from reflect) and thats all bout this - stop with herecy:p check, than write:3

    edit: and about deflect magic skills - they work as a % reflection of oncoming prevented dmg influenced also by additional reflects.

    is there since i remember this game to exist but yea, past god it became utterly annoying and overly relevant even outside of olympiads, where it should've been limited already (there were augments deciding entire hero cycles...).
    now almost everybody has, if you ask me, is reasonably more fair now than it ever was but lets say is relative, this doesn't mean isn't a dumb thing but that reflect concept is now live and running on every mmo i played.
    yet i found ridicolous as a dagger getting that much reflect while stabbing an healer since the very first past-awakening levels, but thats it.
    rule one of online gaming, "learn to adapt and use features at your advantage".
    we can discuss further from it comes from and where it leads to, but is sincerely pointless.
    koreans aren't going to remove it, thought.

    i don't know why people keep arguing about the reflect, but the basic idea is this:

    no matter how much reflect % you may have, you can only reflect a maximum ammoun that is the same number as your p.def. the only situation that you may reflect more is if you equipt a shield or if you use tank ud.

    there are also other factors that effect the reflect, but i don't feel like sharing the results of countless tests i have done to the general public for no reason.

    ok this is brainless example to clarify it.

    me - 20k hp, damage lets say 10k
    enemy - 100k hp, damage lets say 1k (i , as a dagger used all ultimates evasion i could)

    so, every hit i return like 4k damage minimum to myself so at the end i kill myself after 5 hits. where is the logic ?
    the dude can go make a thee and come back to see if i killed myself already or not...

    all i want is a fair gameplay not that i must pray in the olympiad for 2minutes hide just for hit and run ...

    get some reflect resist. reflect damage now is nothing compared to the start of god where pretty much anyone you hit did more damage back to you.

    longing and +6 shiny shirt is more than enough to stop the bleeding. that's 35% reflect resist. one of the recent updates added in something where the harder you hit people the less reflect you take in proportion or something like that.

    tauti ring gives another 5% reflect resist, anakim/lilith 6% ? i believe as well. coc belt gives some as well.

    there is an active augment that will give +20% to whatever you have. ( ie you have longing only it gives you +6% )

    there is a passive for your weapon that gives +50% reflect resistance.

    also dark armor might have an effect on reflect damage as well ( not tested all the way )
