I heard somewhere, that nerfing spoil as it currently is, was a move to prevent BOTS to mess with the in-game economy. By one side it finds a reason, but I believe it is a mere excuse to increase profit on L2 Store. Indeed.

That was the initial idea from when the game was p2p, but after p2w was introduced they realized a lot more money could be made by nerfing everything.

You have to be pretty naive to think that nerfing everything in game is to fight the bots. With a little thought put into it, you can see that if the players are unable to achieve things in game they would either turn to l2store, rmt or quit. You can be certain that people who are doing this as a business are pretty aware of that, they are not thinking we are fighting bots and then UUH surprise no people playing the game besides the store users. The bot fighting was just an excuse front for players, which as it seems have worked with many. I'm convinced this wasn't a sudden realization that the store would work, it was a plan with transitioning periods.

F2P model is too tempting for companies to make easy profits. Over the years, this model has proven to be a low-quality gaming experience and lacking fair play. I just made an oath to myself, this is the second and last f2p(p2w) MMO I'll play.
RIP beloved L2, i'll save the great memories before they turned you into a money grab machine.
