ban for what? it's game, full of lies and dramaz, come join us, and cry like all!

 

i know about this situation, fellows. but people are giving their items willingly, so this is considered to be a part of game process and gms cannot interfere.
when someone asks you to give him/her your valuable items, please check and double check who you are speaking with.

 

mby get rid of ppl like him from server ? cmonyx we rly dont wanna ppl scamming another ppl using ours names.

 

on the grounds of what? he is not breaking any rules at the moment. though he is on a slippery slope and players are welcome to inform me if he makes anything prohibited.

if he tries to use names that look similar to your friends/clanmates' names you can check at once if he's really your clannie or friend. just place a pointer at his name and a menu with all connections between him and you will pop up.

 

is this guy luxvox's little brother? he also has a char gravediger. he pmed me last week from it.

don't ban him , and you'll see more quiters than people comming in the server. it's just about if you want to keep the image of a server that let scammers going free..

anyway i'm brained enough to do not give my items , i hope everyone will do the same now.

 

report to police? they would get a funny report ''someone is pretending to be me in lineage 2, please do something about it''... i think it would just be a joke, since it isn't anything serious.

and if ppl do actually believe him, and do give their items away and after quit. it is a good thing, we will only have the smart ones left in here.

i do agree with you, however, as far as i understand innova's position, they are also right on their own. he did nothing wrong as far as the game world/rules are concerned we will have to deal with this issue on our own.

 

the thing is we don't ban people for no reason. impersonating someone's friends for scam purposes is not a righteous deed but it is not against game rules. please tell me what exact help from staff do you expect?

 

add a rule about this specific type of thing ?

seriously help from staff with this kinda things?? people should stop doing stupid mistakes like that and give they're itiems/adena to strange people that told they know each other , i mean seriously u would go outside your home and met some random person and say "hello we know each other give me your car keys i just want test drive or make photo with it ,o r give me 1000 euros i just want hold it or make photo with " ....i can't believe still some people fall for that kinda people .. it's not imagine of server as it's imagine of people that play in this server ...
u should not share your things with people unless u know them in real life 100% or trust them really good .. i mean u ask like some people did poke me in ts or other communication programs if u both uses , skype ,fb .. log with your main char to pm or ask .. how can u blindly give your itiem's to anyone that says that know u!!!

well, rules are not changed just because there is a dedicated topic on forum. if they were changed because of that just image what rules we would have in a couple of years.
