enchant backup stones

hi! i got question about enchant backup stones, do they work? tried to enchant ring of insolence (b grade) few times and i cannot even make it +6 with backup stones. it's written they give 23% more chance of successfull enchant, so chance should be like 90% or im wrong ... ?

 

the normal enchant rate is 66%. this boost gives 23% out of these 66%. so it's not 23%.

 

66% * 123% = 81,18% *_ * i must be unlucky

 

enchant rate is not 66%, its much complex than a simle number. there were tests on this one of the ncwest pts.
