it probably has been said before, but anyway. have you any plans to make keyboard control possible? i mean normal awds movement + mouse camera control, tipical of many mmorpgs, even old ones, like wow or newer ones like aion and such. real one, not the spinning system l2 has at the moment under those keys. any player who has played both systems knows that keyboard control is much more accurate and faster, clicking feeling slow and clumsy. personally i was wishing to play l2 when it came out for free in eu, but i can't get over this. i'm sure it's the same for many other players, too. so, any hopes it will be improved in the future?
well, if you go options while you are ingame, then chose shortcut at right, select "enter chat" with a tick on left. now you are able to move with awds, also in this screen you can change any controls. remember to press on confirm and all will be fine. regards!
time over time wasd movements gets updated and updated, maybe not everyone noticed, but there is already big improved. but controls is stillakward, bit more and it will be playable. lets hope it will updated in next expansion, second goddess chapter.
don't forget to remove your joystick/gamepad from your computer (not just only remove the drivers) since lineage have poor detection of those and poor use.
actually, the reason i prefer l2 over wow and company is because of this lack of wasd controls. i hate the way everyone is jumping around in circles at wow.... srsly this more stationary and calm way that l2 has is waaaaay better. lets you concentrate on the way you will play your skills out more than the way you will jump around like a rabid rabbit. and that's how it should be. that's my opinion.
yeah, its way realistic without that jumping thing, who could imagine that feature made for terrain bypass, can be used in this way. seriuosly who jumps all the time by traveling in real life? super mario? :d to me is strange to play game where you can move, but cant dodge, block, or cast while running attacks, in other words act in real time. everthing else is stationary except "w" button constant press, but i think its stationary too. :d
you guys have a point on the jumping nonsense but in interactive pve, for example, evading aoe attacks, or in pvp, mouse control lacks funcionability imho. @1tm, you don't just press w ^^ and you can cast skills while moving in these games too (you can't cast spells while moving, but that's kinda logical xd) thank you for the replies, gonna try to remove my gamepad even if it was turned off. worth a try.
since wasd movement ****s i decided to put skills on qweasd it gives more control over your skill bars without using mouse. tab for next target and space for taking loot e.g. this way i can use mouse only for movement. much more efficiennt imo.
it u would use keyboard movemnt it would limit u hard at pvp its not that kind of wow game that u use 3-6 skills this game usualy to be good reqs alot of macros and alot of skills to be used aka u cant use keyboard movment coz ur hand is busy using nonstromo.
