hp notebook, and i have no problem with god client at ncwest (i got in to magmeld and just hit 36 lvl.....) ani idea with this error ?

hi all!
error type

due to "race condition" (race condition) between the some security component and the l2 startup code (responsible for the game interface initialization). the problem was on os xp and "xp compatibility mode" on other operation systems (because of some really strange code in system comctl32.dll library)

ncsoft tried to solve this problem for the ru-servers earlier, but they did it just for win7 in xp compatibility mode. and some of native xp builds still suffer from this error, so we decided to make some changes in the security components from our side.

i promise i'll pay full attention to this issue, and anyway we will try to resolve the situation.

lobosolitario, thanks for your assumption, but video subsystem isn't yet initialized by a game's engine, so the crash log line contains "no video"

 

so any solution about how to fix this on windows xp?

 

in my opinion the best way is to wait the dev. team's decision
but if you have alternative solutions or suggestions - please let me know about it. thx

i have the same problem :s win7 x64
hi all, after 2000 try i'am stucked on this problem :

1) i press play button
2) a progress bar showed ( i think frost update check)
3) a small image appear ( with loading)
4) nothing.....all death

 

are you using comodo (some problems with this security software)?

 

i dont use it

 

cant launch game too.. tried launching from site(crit. error) , tried launching l2.exe lol, then got frost error in russian.. tried reinstalling the game, deleting frost/system files.. nothing worked. i dont even use any antivirus/firewall..

 

can you see lineageii.exe in task manager after pressing "play" button?

"history: wcontrol::registerwindowclass"... issue needs some lineageii.exe modifications (don't confuse with other errors).

 

omg just get rid of that slow *** stinking windows xp
