I'm disconecting from server

guys i've a news. i premise i've a 20mb connection with 1 mb on upload.. i tryed to connect my pc with my iphone 4 (1mb connection max.. :/) by tethering sistem.. and whats news? i never got dc after 2 hours of gaming - no lags.. incompatibility with some connection or router configuration..?

i`v tried everything and still i get dc few minutes after i log in.

what innova will do when its clearly a problem in your network?

 

its frost problem, most of these ppl have 100% internet.. other servers no problem... only here disconnects.. how it will be in our network ? i get dc after 30 sec in game .. doesnt matter what.. i unnistal avast, switch off firewall and it was ok .. install again avast = dc, put on firewall back = dcs ...

 

this is just a kidding right? or are you saying than more than twenty people have the same problem, including me and i was playing during 4 days and one day go down for my network?

 

well, with these dc is one funny thing.. i dont know why, but sometimes i connect and i can play without dcs... or i connect, get about 5 dcs and then no dc.. so i dont know this is mine or server problem.. ;/ i am using internet through wifi from mine router and my brother is using same internet but he get cable from router. same problem to us both..

 

in my whole l2 life i got

disco because it loads too slow
disco because in net went beserk
disco because i messed up settings in windows mtu
almost all of those have a common enemy
packet loss

the same reason that you see flush entity in cs or flux capable in ut2004 it isnt a server conf or server something but the connection between them..

i've told u that i/ve set is up so i set it up with this page so this problem is not with my network.

 

guys, try to change router, maybe your router does not support large packets from frost, we have solved the disconnection problems in 3 days, changing a router to a new one helped.

 

so you see that the problem is in antivirus. we hardly try to adapt our software to all the avs but when they are updated there are sometimes compatibility problems.

what to do? well, you can temporaly uninstall your antivirus and install another which work correctly. or you can try to tweak your av by yourself and if you do it, please send us its correct configuration with screenshots. so you can help many users.

p.s. dcs are caused by network issues very, very seldom...

i've tried that and... its strange, from 1472 and below it starts to be fragmented but most of the packets till 1442 are lost, close to 90 or 100% of them lol. so which is my optimum mtu number? 1442+28 =1470 or 1472+28=1500?? btw 1500 was the default one, do i have to change my router config too?.

 

are you kidding me? first of all i could play without dc till sunday, after few hours break when i tried to play i get dc. so what? my av wasnt a problem till sunday noon and after noon it started to be a problem?
another thing is that i already had to uninstall firewall to play here, now you are telling me to uninstall av? it is not a solution! i have av and firewall for a reason...

 

added 4game folder to exceptions ins avast, disabled for 10 minutes and nothing i really doubt that an unistall would fix this, and i won't leave my comp unprotected lol, give us at least another av with 100% compatibility guaranteed.

 

the problem isn't av/fw, because i'm playing w/o them and still getting dc...
i changed my router config (i mean ports for frost and l2, mtu...), format c, full l2 installation w/o nc files, but nothing works. anyway, i have dc (and also continuous lags) only from 17.30/18.00 to 23.30/00.00 gmt+1 approximately :s

i had the same problem as you, but i used bitdefender 2011. so, i've opened router ports, played in game mode, added to the exceptions and still couldn't play. solution = uninstall bitdefender and installed a new one (which actually was avast!) lol now i can play without any kind of dc... even when it lags like hell like entering a town.
