2H-Weapon, 1H-Weapon+Sigil, 1H-Weapon+Shield? Help plz :-)

hello fellow feohs!

i got an important question for you guys.

which of those setups to use on a feoh:

a) 2h-weapon
b) 1h-weapon + sigil
c) 1h-weapon + shield

all of them have pros and cons, but i miss some information to make a final decision, here what i got so far:

a)
pros
most matk and additional casting speed when +4 or higher (dunno if that is much tho), e.g. apocalypse retributer: 314 matk
cons
no shield, no sigil

b)
pros
sigil gives additional 5% matk and 20% mpregen and a bit pdef
cons
less matk, e.g. apocalypse buster/caster: 285 matk

c)
pros
shield block possible, used to be very important against archers in pvp
cons
well, everything which i wrote down as pros in a) and b) are not given

soooo, the question is now, which setup is the best for mages nowdays?
i feel like the mp regen isn't really important anymore, because you party all day anyway and there is usually some recharger. but what about the rest? better go for full matk setup? or for some deal in between?

opinions and reasoning please. please no "setup a) is the best because i use it" stuff. numbers and calculations are welcome too if someone is into that.

devilhealer, your posts are completely non-constructive and useless, as some ppl noticed this before in other threads. your answer means that you prefer 1h weapon+shield. then good luck as you said

themastercaster, take 2h weapon, cause you will get the the most effective m.atk. 29 m.atk. difference in weapons is a lot (in character stats) and no worth to have sigil with funny p.def. and some % to m.atk. also mp regen is not that matter after you are awaken. there is always at least 1 aeore in pt.
as you can see in game, all (how they call them self) "pro&uber" nukers wear 2h apo, and no excuses. tens or even hundreds of m.atk. are better than some other profits that are much less.

buy apo 2h, 1h sigil and shield : switch when you have to do.

 

i preffer 2h, never really had to switch up to now, i`ll think about that at 95 or later depending on what double sa`s and enchant bonuses the weapons have. atm on apo i can get acu+emp and 1% c spd when +4 or higher
i won`t really waste a crystal(when i get one) on apo weapon but still

 

i'd say use bow. then you can use magic skills and shoot arrows at the same time. it's just totally op
