Essences of the Giants (skill enchanting)

anyone knows how high skill enchants have to be to get for example 1 essence? or however this system works.
or just tell in general if it's worth wasting cash on lesser giant codex to get some of the new books.

well the best bet would be to enchant your skills at level 84 or 85 (before you do your class change quest), when i did my quest i got 12 essences of the giants from 4 skills that were +6 or over so based on that it was 3 per oe skill.

 

was indeed my plan to enchant some skills to +9 or so when i would hit 85. looking at the previous posts it kinda looks like it's worth the investment as i've seen some lesser codex books for 650k in shops, ~850k at auction house. though i haven't looked at the price of the new enchant books and neither if they are hard to get.

 

when you awaken it will cost you 2 essences of the giants to get one book or you can chance your arm with the chest you can get from the npc were you trade them (you can get all types of books from those but there is a high chance there could be nothing)

i have only seen a few of them on the ah and they were selling for about 3 million per book but i have not checked in a while for them.

 

i recently checked the prices of lesser and superior giant's codex books (core server). lesser seem to range from 500-750k atm while superior ones are 4-5kk with rarely a cheaper one. kinda looks like profit to get some pre 3rd class skills to +10 at lv85 with descent enchant chance. even if you won't sell the superior books, they're still nice to use yourself.
