Can I still play Lineage II free version with my actual copy of the game????

i own the original lineage ii that ncsoft made. it obviously parted ways with that company. could i use my copy of lineage ii as my install file and still play the free version???? i downloaded the version that was posted on the website for just in case though. my cd copy has a cd key and all. i've had this copy since lineage ii came out in 2004/2005 and havent been able to play it due to lack of money to pay for the monthly fee it required.

your cd version is for ncwest server and could be used only there.

for now we have few version of l2:
ncsoft - main developer from korea
ncwest - us server (your dvd works only here and still need to update to newwest client)
innova eu - outside compay with l2 license
innova ru - outside compay with l2 license
