Ring of insolence viii --> ix

today i tried to exchange 2 token of insolence and a ring of insolence viii for the ring ix, but apparently it didnt work out. i tried to pick ix, but chat said ring 8 was needed. i had a ring 8 but couldnt get the 9, now it exchanged 8 for 8, is there a bug or something? check screenshot

 

first viii is actually vii, do the math

 

so you try to tell me that when i got ring viii i get another one because its not viii?

there is a typo when you exchange from vi to vii which is called viii. then you exchange that misstyped vii (called viii) to proper viii and then ix.
