How to play sieges with more than 1 fpm (frames per minute)?

thread title says enough.

 

restart every 5min so you'll be able to play ~30sec before ur fps drop below 1 again

 

or just buy an alienware for about $4.000

 

get a normal pc, i have 55 fps at mass

 

fraps between huge zerg or never happened.

 

i dont know what your definition of mass is, but sieges that im used to consists of more than 6 people jerking with eachother.

 

amd x2 x64 athlon dual core 2,600 mhz+ ,ati radeon hd 5670 [excellent video card 1gb mem freq.at 4ghz],3 gb ram this pc should be more than good for l2 ,i play skyrim at 30-40 fps,sc2 on max at 20-30 ,dead space 2 at 50 etc...


but l2 in crowded/siege zones/towns/harnak/soa.... unplayable...1 or 2 fps...any suggestions?advices?

stop comparing l2 with 6 years old engine and skyrim with 2012 years engine u can have 3560gb video card 23456ghz processor and still be lagged like hell because l2 engine is 6 years old.

yes i know but l2 shows some requirements on site.
well then they should edit the system requirements?

 

wish those requirements were more correct unless i'm missing something or recommended means a frame rate of 15 or more. :s
recommended cpu duo core 1.86ghz. my current quad core 2.4ghz sure doesn't seem to be enough or perhaps the game relies on ram too. amount i got is sure enough but perhaps the speed isn't as good anymore for these days. :s

 

what i dont understand is how they could make such unoptimized game even more graphically intensive without improving the performance. its like they dont even care about the issue that everyone is experiencing. we shoul do a petition to remove the fancy textures and animations so we can play the game and have fun at the same time again.

 

next update should improve clientside performance... if you can trust ncsoft .

well at least improved performance might mean something "don't worry it won't get worse". and it will for sure cure cancer!

as for the sieges the cure is solid upgrade. check the recommended requirements, multiply by two and you get a bit closer to playing with relatively decent fps .

 

from what little ive seen on todays sieges, the are not nearly as bad as the tw were yesterday. so i hope nc knows whats causing this and will fix it as soon as possible.

yes, me having a low end pc is the fault that im having 1 frame per 1 minute in tw.

please do explain why im playing sieges normally without much lag on the same pc with more people present on the screen. id love to her an explanation how my pc is responsible for this.

 

this can be fixed only with new game engine which wont happen before lineage 3 i have 1fps on my daily setings which my pc isnt used even in 20%...
