(changing start options in command line = switching off some security components)
but my method is bad too =(

 

well if you don't release an official patch for the issue, the players who are left behind will have no option but to use "improvised" means of logging in. so i'm guessing they should just keep their fingers crossed?

 

i wonder why the devs are not looking at your patch (radix) to see how you fixed this and do it themselves.
i mean we are 2 days away from live and some people couldn't test anything yet , it's a shame if they go live and people are still stuck with no video or any other error.

any solution that is effective and for always? don't want to read in previous comments and solutions that last a few hours :s

 

sadly there is no "absolute" solution yet , some of them works well (like radix's patch or procexp) but only for some people .

loading gameguard, but does not boot frost​

solution:

1. configuring antivirus (adding to the exceptions the game folder).
2. run internet explorer --> service -> internet properties -> connections -> setting up a network --> remove all the checkboxes.
3. delete a folder frost from the root folder of the game.
4. delete files frostupdater.dll, gameshielddll.dll, s_info.ini, gameguard.des from folder system.
5. if the folder with the game is the gameguard folder, delete it.
6. disable the parental control in antivirus.
7. perform a full scan of the client.

solution:

1. start --> run --> %windir%\system32\drivers\etc
2. open the hosts file with notepad.
3. write in the end of the file the following line: 109.105.153.10 geo.l2.eu
4. check correct time and date in the system.
5. restart your computer and try to log in to the game.

in the file option.ini from the folder system change for your permission. for example:

dear innova staff.
the mini-patch that radix uploaded functions for me perfectly (i had the no video error). so i understand that is un-official patch but give me a break... radix made in couple of hours what the innova staff didnt in 2 or 3 days. this situation just ridicule the innova staff...and how do you want us to play...if you (staff) cant fix the damn errors u made!!!

radix just 2 questions.
1.u are part of server team or smth? becouse i see u put a lot of infos other ppl dont have.
2.if u understand well moderatos got a solution for these just need to test it?

1) let's say, i have a lot of experience with frost system and can help with some issues
2) some teamviewer tests with eu-players (xp-crash "history: wcontrol::registerwindowclass") in progress (it's not a moderators job =) )

upd: offcicial fix (sample #1) released! update your game clients, remove my fix and try to launch game client.
and send me feedback!

 

i want to ask 4game or whoever is in charge of this new l2eu project why don't you use updater and game launcher from l2.ru? it is working just fine no "web-like" logins, no strange errors from ".net or whatever", no nothing..., so why, why are you using some buggy system on eu players? don't expect many players on opening day because half of them will not be able to connect properly if this continues...

 

wtb help...(win xp) play button doesn't do anything (not only for me...) i accept the agreement then click to play button and nothing... i reinstalled the game 3 times, tryed with other web browsers, tryed the cc cleaner, tryed with l2collectorfix and nothing... why we have to start the game from the web browser????

and what will be? we have to go to naia, if we want to play lineage or what? it is 4 days problem and 0 official answer for this. no video fixed, and this? will we have normal laucher if the live server starts?

hi.have a big problem.on na and eu client i have all ok installation is complete but if im going to game on login screen i dont have any window to write passes and a options nothing only just moving the lobby.
my spec computer:
ram 512 mb
graphic nvidia geforce mx 440 64 mb
cpu-intel celeron 2.6 ghz
etc etc
yes it old computer but
on h5 i didnt have problem and can normal play.
pls help me i have full update.

oh i play on windows xp

 

if you have installed comodo internet security or only comodo firewall double click on comodo tray icon click defense+ tab > defense+ settings > image execution control tab > exclusions list and add entire frost folder which is located in your game directory, reboot and play.

 

contact ur isp maybe they have blocked some ports which acutally innova use and that may the reasen u keep lagging despite the fact having quite low ping.
