i have unlocked all the ports, which is mentioned in the forum, so it's not blocked port wine : (

 

i can confirm that the no video issue has been solved with latest patch.
on further analysis, i found the game working with xphome, but not with pro before. now it loads regardless of version.
thank you for the fix !
regarding lags and stuff, i also have lower performance than in nc servers but only in crowded areas, we go test chars in pvp in a quiet place and there is no problem there except some blip from time to time, about a second lag then all back to normal.

didn't i clearly statet that u should contact your isp ? ports ain't blocked only locally by routers in ur home etc. isp probably uses iptables to block ports on their linux running servers ffs. so that u don't have blocked certain ports by ur home hardware, that doesn't mean they ain't blocked by ur isp.

 

lf help...(win xp) play button doesn't do anything (not only for me...) i accept the agreement then click to play button and nothing...

 

unffortuantely gg error still occur, even after your solutions. but in system folder i dont have frostupdater.dll, gameshielddll.dll, s_info.ini, gameguard.des files... anyone help?

 

zbrochu, something blocks frost update...
may be "parental control" in av-software or the same
may be proxy / hosts file

 

hello, i try start play here since few days. i have a problem "no video" , since yesterday i red that everything should be working corectly, so i downloaded game again..guess what nothing changed - still no video.
can any1 tell me what i should do ? and i dont want mess with files im not programist just a normal pc user.

tonymaka, "no video" not an error. it's means that video subsystem is not yet initialized.
so if you want some help - show crash log screen.

 

linux (ubuntu 11.10) wine 1.3.28 .... only install button ...even if i completely download the game.. no update / play..only install button ... any idea ? (its really problem to set on website os detect and download menu for linux ? )

 

yoaseth, i think you can't play on wine (themida \ frost \ and others)

 

more like it cant find (cant i set the where it can find the folder manually? )... have 2 pc /window / linux.. it was doing the same errors like on win when i was trying to start from folder if it would help ... (its not big problem install win os *at last moment* ..but it will be annoying cuz i don't have that strong pc ..don't wanna play it on low details :d)

this worked for me, thanks! although i get disconnected from the server now, but i guess beta has been stopped. odd that the server shows as online though, light traffic.

yes but here the problem is that europe doesnt let isp do whatever they want..
look what carrier iq did if this thing happened here they would be now in prison without a trial lol(and they probably will if europe finds out that they where using it our continent too)

 

afaik carrier iq is on every android phone even in those in europe, only m$ told that they didn't installed that **** on their system. but anyway what has eu to that isp are blocking some ports ? all its made for better "security"
