the shirts can be balanced or not, but the problem is from ncsoft, making classes so unbalanced, like tyrs, iss and tanks. in general, all heavy armor users.
Just tested shirt and its really strange. For sure i took less damage with same p.def. P.def balanced with ability points. So its was equal. Damage taken: with shirt 11-12k. Without shirt 12-13k. What is not 12,5% as it should be with shirt +7, but it was significant, since i dont think like 50 blows shouldnt surpass damage without shirt if it shouldnt work and it was only "random" difference in damage.
Should be 8%p.def (less because you surely go with some static p.def boost) not 8% from total. Are u getting less bonus from 8%pdef (from AP/dual skills) than with this shirt? Physical critical damage reduction wont work with their skills, only p.def will help u, and the chance to reflect debuff.
Seems won't work aganist Othels and Yuls skills,at least the 25% Physical Critical damage decrease (on shirts at +10). The +15% p.def increase (base p.def) and the chance to reflect abnormal states, yes.
Almost similar 13978 ( with shirt ) and 13 990 (without shirt, different AP ). Will test more some day, but i think daggers skill working like this: They have their skill power. U do damage. It can be double. Like any other skill if crit. For example, dagger skill hit 1000. If skill crit its 2000 damage. This numbers u will hit if u will get 0 boost to critical damage. If u will equip AQ, Baium, Lindvior, activate 101 toogle, augument, use self buffs etc. For example u can get 100% crit damage boost. It will be applied to 2000 basic damage. So u will hit for 4000. But critical damage reductions buffs/items will affect only bonus damage from critical damage buffs/items what increase damage. So for example 25% reduction mean, 2000 bonus damage from crit damage will be decrased by 25% to 1500. Overal damage will be 2000+1500 = 3500. Its just my theory, need to do more tests, but few tests i made, pass to that theory.
Logy save the theory man doesnt work for daggers doesnt work for archers so we good they just added totally useless shirt to the game but since it was ment for future update and not now, its safe to say it will work after update
this game become so fckude up. item increasing crit dmg works for dagger blow, items decreasing crit dmg doesnt work for dagger blow. that logic. lets make l2 like make dagger or archer u won the game. gratz wtf
tested damage with dagger backstab with +10 shirt , no shirt getting 2200-2450,with shiny shirt 1900-2000, with new shirt 1700-1800.
to be exact with numbers no shirt -> reflect shirt (30% dmg decrease) no shirt -> shiny shirt (20% dmg decrease) shiny shirt -> reflect shirt (10% dmg decrease) test done with 10 stabs each
Thanks to both of you for the tests. Have someone done the same test for Yuls ? (pinpoint crit/non crit w/ and w/o the shirt). Otherwise I LF someone with a +10 reflect shirt to do the experiment in few hours (in ~4-5hours)
First : Use a shiny stone to make your Maphr Shirt +8 into a Shiny Shirt +8. Second : Buy another Shiny Stone, and put both the Shiny Shirt +8 and the Shiny Exchange Stone in your warehouse Thrid : Open a ticket with in title "echange shirt +8 to +10", should be done by support in a couple of days.
