SA and Augment

The one in the video who kill me w/o armor was full STR,also his 'dude' was full STR.

But actually you should play ur toon with the build you like the most. You think it's better having higher mastery rate? go str. you think it's better landing 2x crits more often? go dex. you think you can hit breakpoints for boths? go mix.

You think you sux? go nakedfor...ah no sorry,wrong one.

 

and he won against u cause he had full str?.. he had 0 acuracy, landed dmg once, the thing is u stood in stun 95% of close fight

 

No he won coz i was stun-locked and he had full PVP-end game gears (skills +10/brooches lv 3/5,pvp duals OEd,longing,7s talisman,etc etc etc)...but you asked to name you 'end game daggers with 3x str dye'

 

If I was dagger, I'd try to hit 120 str and 80 dex, it's hard, but... IMO best build for mixed oly/open pvp.

 

Hello all, I am going to reset the talk on the original question and (almost) ignore all this blah blah
about the DEX vs STR discussion. I say almost cause for anyone who is interested I am on full DEX-Luck dyes.

So about this skill crit dmg vs crit dmg augment.

Personally on my dagger I have Skill crit dmg, there was a point that I was thinking to remove it and go for the
normal one, but I didn't since even for that 15% skill crit dmg, it took me a gazilion stones to get itand I don't
want to go through it again.

I did a couple of tests some time ago and I draw some conclusions that sum up to the following:

1. Skill Crit damage only gives the bonus when the blows crit.
2. Backstab crits ALWAYS. (If it's from behind and not from the side)
3. To see the magic numbers, you need the skill to crit.

In conclusion, you will always get the bonus on your backstab, and you need the rest of your blows to crit anyways in order to get to those high damage numbers, so crit damage, or skill crit damage makes no difference.

 

They forgot that dagger has huge p skill crit damage. IMO any dagger without atleast 80 dex is a waste. Having str is nice for a lil crit dmg bonus, but critical chance is way better. Now in open pvp with PoM is even better. So yeah, p skill critical damage, IMO, is much better.
