How good a job do they do at dealing with botting here? A week ago (on Core) I went to the fairy area & it was filled with bots. Today I went there and it was nearly deserted. Are they banning the bots or was I just lucky?
AFAIK bots aren't banned on-sight because that's pointless, instead they are marked, and their adena is traced, so their clients get banned instead, and botters lose clients, and stop botting cause nobody to sell to. Kinda smart
well.. i'm on risk to get ban here, but they do good job to ban obvious bots in low lvl spots where probably nobody going to exp... (to make char 1-99 for me took few days not leaving town after 85) also chatbaning peoples who use any adjective to say something back for those who bully them and.. well, at least there is no lags
Unlikely. Bots the ones with hdjsk names are banned on-sight. As to Jim's question - bots are pretty strictly banned Mon-Fri, the weekend is another story, too much vodka, not enough time.
Are You sure its every log ,or its when You're logging some accounts which werent logged for some time?
What the hell is happening with support? Havent got an answer to any ticket, bots reported at the start of Tiat are still running without a ban 24/7 WTF IS THIS?
