they don't see pa accounts and vit potions ect. to affect game balance. from that press release i didn't understand for a second that there will be no donations. without restriction means that you don't have to pay to unlock some game zones or features.



you're right, but i have confirmed from ncsoft, that the eu servers will be settings up at the same way like us ones. (i asked them on their page on facebook).

ncwest is one thing innova is another company ... and ncsoft is the boss :d

but this is innova both .ru and .eu is ran and operated by innova. so basically policy, business tactics are same.

as this is multi-million dollar project, unlike private servers we all played.

they have intense business plan involved, as we can all see ncsoft's plan has been failing recently with their monthly payment plan. (innova has proven with .ru - that .ru does provide more better and stable income with free to play)

ncsoft has adapted same business technique, however ncsoft and innova are two separate companies, and are ran differently. (ncsoft owns patents, and everything has to do with l2) innova simply runs the "business" on .ru, and now .eu

i still tend to believe .eu will be more or less like .ru instead of north america ncsoft free to play.

 

so tell me, why innova blocks russian ip address?

because they don't want to lose their russian paying players.

 

i think it will happen like what happened with allods online, which had a global server but ip block to russia, where russia have their own servers for this game.

 

cyberx that is the problem we got no idea how will this really affect this servers, there wasn't really 100% confirmation how will it look like. tho i would like not to see pa and as "donations" max soul shots, some accessory.

 

thats true, but we have some info from ncsoft and innova..not much, but some...and 100% dont be same like in russia...

they could apply same features but
giving a totally new prospective could be a very nice shot.

they could have added our coming server to the log in list of ru offi but they won't. that suggests to me that something new is on the way

i agree with you.

i was not really aware of russian ip blocking before this, but it makes very much alot of sense.

russians already got their own, so as this new server is for "europe", but as goes for innooova. i do believe it will simply be pretty much same as l2.ru

inooova.ru/eu = same thing, different markets/people playing in it, so why bother changing anything when they know .ru was big success ?

as i wrote i could be totally wrong, but when it comes talking about different targets, we have to consider that the first one (russian people) already knows their provider and its marketing shuffles. besides they already have the new product since weeks so they had plenty of time to test it and now fully enjoy it.

speaking about the new target, we as european have something more than russian for this reason: "expectations"
i mean, we expect them to provide a better service, since it's gonna be new for us, even if many of us know how they behave in russia.

they can make what ever they want that's for sure.but as long as the items that will be received via payment won't affect the pvp and game balance will be fine whit me.

 

add some real questions, like : are you going to do anything about stacking new+older buff, and dupping items ?
