The chest chance is really low, the chance to get Stone from chests even lower. Until now the only PVE stone I got was from PA dragon, and I opened hundreds of event chests. Guess PA has bigger chance to give you a stone than this event, so yeah kind of ***** a lot.
In my opnion it's a nice event if you're into fishing (like afk fishing while playing another game / going to work). Why ? The bait costs the same as normal R99 baits. The chest, around 2% rate, gives, around 100% of the cases, 50 fishing shots. Meaning that, dyes apart, you'll have a REALLY low amount of fishing shot consumption (bought 10k shots, am at 7k with 15k baits used). This event, at least for fish part, is "fish without shots fee". And increased xp. Which is nice. And the herb drops part is also nice.
It's nice that we have events, but I'm strongly against afk/boxing/premium only events/ingame activities. It really bothers me much that people gain wealth and so much advantages for being afk with xxx boxes. Computer should be shut down at night and instances/events played with one client only! You might not realize it, but while you are bashing na servers for being botland, how would you define our situation? I'll shoot some wild number here and say that 70% of server population are boxes. Whats missing is scripts and there you have your regular bots. You can move this post to complaints thread if it exists
If someone can manage to actually efficiently play 4 accounts by himself, he has way more skill than someone running a script (that he often didn't even write) to do the same. If I can play multiple account at the same time, why shouldn't I do it ? What gives you the right to say "computer should be shut down at night" ? If I want to kill polar bears with my energy consumption, it's my choice
I'm not saying you have no rights to do it... What I said I'm strongly against it. And you plaing 4 accounts does not make your skills better, thats for sure.
Of course logging multiple accounts do not increase your skill... if it would I'd have make sure to log as many accounts as possible. Did you read what I wrote ? I said that if you can multitask well enough to play 4 account EFFICIENTLY, you are skilled. (ofc if someone can do that in PvP (the keyword is still "efficiently") without any script, he's not skilled, he's far above...) More than the DD rolling his head on the keyboard to spam skills in instances, and the healer that literally fell asleep on his balance life/mass heal macro
Thx to the new macro system, you can now do many instances boxing all your dds, and possibly the whole party for some, hourra
Nah, I ment no offense bro. I could do the same, if I would want to. I feel like the game would be far more fun without it. I know this is just a wishfull thinking tho. I just don't like the idea itself on general, that lets you make any kind of progress for beeing afk. Same with using self boxes on instances, its all very cool and profitable, but isn't it a shame that a multiplayer game encourages people to solo stuff :/ Just to tell you, I'm making my iss box too right now, for kartia etc. and also afk fish. I'm not a hypocrite and I just expressed my personal opinion on the matter. Oh and new macro system in perfect, you can't exactly full time afk, but it's a nice quality of life update

Nah, those boxes always take long to open. Same with the box you get fishing with normal / r99 baits. Put box in your hotbar, make macro to use shortcut on bar, rightclick macro on all fishers and go afk

All others event NPC function no longer available. Somehow I can continue to buy baits! I'm pissed off, because after what was calculating how much I need this baits for my boxes. Hello! The dialogue with Chef Monkey was changed after the maintenance according to plan. Btw, you may have some lags in the dialogue lately - that was because we were working with it.
