Frost Update error (with log)

my game won't launch, when i launch it from web using play button, some sort of updating happens, than some picture and nothing more.
when i launch it using l2.exe in system folder, frost comes up updating and then some sort of text in russian.

plz try the following steps ->
1.configuring antivirus (adding to the exceptions the game folder).
2.run internet explorer --> service -> internet properties -> connections -> setting up a network --> remove all the checkboxes.
3.delete a folder frost from the root folder of the game.
4.delete files frostupdater.dll, gameshielddll.dll, s_info.ini, gameguard.des from folder system.
5.if the folder with the game is the gameguard folder, delete it.
6.disable the parental control in antivirus.
7.perform a full scan of the client.

you mean the frost doesnâ´t reach 100% while the updating and then the game closes? if you mean that, try with this:

remove files and frostupdater.dll gameshielddll.dll from your system , doing a full scan of the client.
delete the contents of the folder from the root of frost games.
make a full scan of the game the client.

pd: you cannot launch the game from the system folder. you always have to launch it from the web site

tried it absolutely as you sugested, problem still persists.
but at step 4.: files gameshielddll.dll, s_info.ini, gameguard.des was not in l2 system folder or in any other folder.

it reach 100%, splash screen from frost folder shows up but instantly dissapears (its visible for half a second). nothing more happens (l2 splash not even appear and game wont launch at all).

 

did you make a checking files?

 

yep, checked files usind fix game at website, it was sucessfull. when i press play button:

it goes all the way to 100% (but very very fast) then that image from frost folder (back.bmp) shows up for 0,5s and then nothing.

 

i think some files are not downloaded at all.

thank you, to give you some more info, i must say that iam able to play on us ncwest servers, so this issue must be related to frost or 4game launcher.
and iam using windows 7 x64

 

have similiar problem, same architecture tree of files in l2 folder, missing few files like lordboos. and after launch gg 153 error...

 

i learned that frost is using shellcode injection, which my av/fw blocks.
so this solved my issue:

if you have installed comodo internet security or only comodo firewall double click on comodo tray icon click defense+ tab > defense+ settings > image execution control tab > exclusions list and add entire frost folder which is located in your game directory, reboot and play.
