As it is random, it is THE reason why statistic would help. If numbers are large enough it can show its nature. So as many numbers we may have can help. But actually better to see numbers from one source if it is high enough. That would help more ofc

What you mean numbers ? How rare is get 5 lvl or what ? Normla way to get 90% 5 lvl jewel is buy 500 box(that same type ) and do them easy way (if you can think about spend lot off money for one lvl 5).

Here by numbers i meant to see "how random it is". for it, we need to see a lot of numbers ofc. but more is closer to see it. less is just cry in corner ,) btw is just talking, maybe info or impression.

if it was easy anyone would do it, and there is a reason prices are so high not every person on the server is an idiot for paying a lot for level 5. that guy with 2 ruby lv. 5 smells like a bullshiter to me.

In great number of information about a topic, there are false numbers, too. You cant block them. So, there are rules to sort them out (well, most of them). Anyway, about luck is not a problem. My problem is that it is insanely priced. With EUR spent on one lv5 ruby purely from l2store you can maintain a server with not bad specs for not only one day, trust me. (even from clouds or real stuff). I have no problem with luck (well, frustrating to spend all gained material for seed talisman and still have not got longing and seeing even toons to run with longing).

i watch PVE4Life video where he did 500 boxes and got like 6 x lvl 4's and did not succeed making a lvl 5, he said all up he used 1200ish boxes lol.... it's kind of scary just thinking about it.

If It works based on percentages than it can't be rng. The thing is, statistics count with loads of data and end up with a percentage. However if chance to succeed from lvl 4 to 5 is 10% than every single compound is 90% sure to fail. If you imagine this on a line with 100 dots and you have to hit the lucky 10. In that case there are people who get lvl 5 from 50 boxes and those who don't get it from 1500. What is interesting though is what are the odds to hit "the success spot" so many times in a row? I'm sure if we made the math we would be on a percentage starting with 0.
Conclusion is it is completely irrelevant how many boxes you have and applying the count of them to your hopes for succeeding, because the chance doesn't change. With every click you are 90% sure to fail.
