Methods to activate back bugged soulshots after death

so as everyone already know sometimes soulshots are turning off after death and rez, and i want to know if just clicking soulshots shortcut activates it back (considering it was turned on earlier) or only deactivating and activating it again (2 right clicks) works.

i know that method 2 works perfectly, but can`t remember about method 1 (just left clicking soulshots shortcut, or button assigned to shortcut) and i can`t test it ingame right now, so if any1 know if it`s working or not i`ll be very gratefull if u will tell me, thx.
