need help with l2 client

i redownloaded the l2 client from the 4game launcher and when i load the client to play l2 it only loads the small loading bar in middle of the screen then nothing happens is the a new patch or something because nothing is working below shows the loading box and thats all i get when loading the client

i can see that your avg antivirus is enabled, it can cause blockage depending on the settings of it. try the solutions in the instructions and do not hesitate to get back to us if necessary.

could it be something with running the new windows 8 mabe?

 

yes it can be.
if nothing appear after that loading window its mean problem with frost. i think some .dll are blocked or not run properly.
windows 8 is stiall at developer mode so its not full supported yet.
