Summoner or buffer for a trio with a bishop and dark avenger?

Ten years ago, my friends made me to level a prophet, and I loved it. But I have always wanted to try out a summoner. Now that we are starting to play again, I can't decide. I also don't know the modern l2 very well. Which would be better to play with a healer-tank trio?

Since an ISS is absolute must-have for everything, going iss+tank+heal is good option. With those you already have half pt and random dd's are easier to find than good support. The iss can also have wynn on dual, both need the same armor (+8 light) and iss can get away with dd gear, while tank/heal can not.

One negative of this setup is lack of dps, so you can't do anything trio (like a daily quest kill 100 mobs or smth). Fixable with boxes (iss, dd's) and duals but either option requires double gear.
