Frost does not support Secure Boot. Disable it in BIOS settings.

    There could be:
    * Actual SecureBoot option in Advanced settings. Just disable it.
    * SecureBoot option presents but in gray. Need to set BIOS Administrator password and it will be activated. Disable it then (password could be deleted after)
    * No SB option but Boot menu contains string similar to "boot mode: Windows8/Windows10". It should be changed in "Others OS" what will do the trick.

That's strange. PC could not to boot after SB been enabled but after disable... first time meet that. Didn't you change anything else?

It's really depends but not more. This update introduce the fix for Spectre vulnerability that touches security mechanics.
As for future 1803 update it contains this fix already so it can't be rolled back separately.
(anyway. with current 1803 17133.1 system could hang during game loading so I do not recommend to use it. Stay on 1709 or wait for next 17134.1 build)
(and not to install a security fix is a bad idea in general)

    NB!
Frost officially does not support SecBoot. And there are no plans to change it currently. Occasionally it could come back to operational state but that's not what I would really expect. In foreseeable future at least.

Well. If (when?) frost will be patched I believe it become support SB officially. Actually that what I would prefer in person (if my opinion is ever interesting). But for now all we can do is to dig into bios or hope and wait.

    See answers above.

it's still strange for me why game security software requires some permission in bios.

SB with last update somehow enables more strict requirements for kernel module signatures.

I don't want to give you false hopes so I wouldn't say anything.

so in short. those who don't want mess with bios now can try search for other games because frost don't want to update their security soft?
