[22.07.2018] Event plans for Q4

Dear L2 EU Community!

Last week our team gathered to plan out the rest of the year. We hope this covers most of your requests and needs. As usual, this plan doesn't include forum activities or L2 Store promotions.

August:​

• Orfen Update​
• Heroes Welcome promotion for returning players​
• X2 rates​
• Attendance Event​

September:​

• End of Attendance event
• Some farm event (we're waiting for the options from NCSoft, maybe there's some new event we don't know of)​

October:​

• Red Libra​
• Halloween spirit event (appearance)

November:​

• Still Red Libra​

December:​

• Birthday event​
• Christmas event​

We still don't know the details for Birthday and Christmas events as we haven't received the list of the possible events in the new version. I'll update this post once I got more details about those and the possible farm event.

As for the Orfen update - we haven't received the EU version yet, I'll do a separate post with an announcement once we got it and decide on the date. After that post, we'll be counting people who can apply for the returning hero promotion, so if you are inactive 30+ days now and plan to return, wait for that announcement or you'll be ineligible for the Heroes Welcome Packs. (I hope my team won't kill me for posting this).

As usual, please remember that the schedule can shift or get changed because of many reasons, so if you take decisions on it, you're doing it on your own risk The final mechanics and dates will always be announced officially in the usual detailed description posts.

Spoiler: IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER:

This event plan is an attempt to organize better info flow between the team and the community as a result of the feedback given in previous discussions on the forums and it can be changed anytime. I still believe this will help players to organize their time and exping better and see what's being done for the server. I hope you understand that in a case of negative feedback we have the right to stop posting previews and go back to "100% proven info only" mode.

If I remember correctly it's a week after the tests are done. When will the tests be done? Nobody knows that xD (BUT THEY'D BE DONE MUCH FASTER IF THERE WAS A TESTING GROUP LIKE ON LILITH)

i wouldn't be surprised if they'll change that last minute.. like they did with last "fishing" event..

 

I hope it will be that old fishing with good rewards not that shet exp.. and no rewards

 

btw any infos on the "normal " fishing rewards? Someone said that the Starlight Jars and Agathions will be from fishing, lf Confirmation

 

You'll be surprised, but that's exactly what we have - a group of testers to catch it all XD

 

Is the heroes welcome project for new players scratched, like the required fishing quest?

 

When we will have any discounts for old players. that they are logging every day paying for their PA ?

Yea...about that, so what happened to the fishing event? you guys didn't even scratch it out, its not even on the list anymore.

 

Just nice m they erased fishing, when all server waiting for it (old one) .. gz

 

Was about to tag @CM Fragola and cry some about the fishing event. But then again, it's not event. It's L2Store promo and they aren't included in this post. So we can still keep hope ?
