Maintenance on August 22

Dear players,
Our weekly maintenance will start on Wednesday, August 22, at 9:00 CEST. Expected maintenance duration is 3 hours.

1. In-game changes and fixes:
- New powerful Artifacts will soon appear in the game. Due to this, Inventory window has been already changed as follows:

• inventory window has been increased in width and height;
• inventory expansion button has been removed;
• the location of some inventory slots has been changed;
• character's 3D model has been placed in a separate window which can be hidden;
• the Upgrade Artifact button that is placed next to Compound has been added (Artifact items will be introduced later);
• the Artifact Book inventory slot has been added (Artifact Books will be introduced later);
• the Artifact inventory tab that shows only artifacts has been added;
• the lower panel of the inventory has been redesigned: you can now see only one type of items at a time - Brooch Jewels, Talismans, Agathion Charms, or Artifacts;
• all new items which appear in the inventory are now marked with the distinctive green border and the letter 'N' (means 'New');
• the enchant level of all enchanted items is now displayed in the left lower corner of the item's icon.

- Due to the addition of the Artifact system, NPC Alexandria in Luxury Shop is temporarily unavailable. NPC Galladucci now performs the functions of Alexandria. She will reappear in the game with the addition of the first artifacts.

It is really important to understand that European release of this system might be sufficiently different due to regional specialties.

In update from 23.05.2018 developers integrated new game system - system of artifacts. This system allows to improve characteristics of the characters by adding special artifacts to the equipment.

ARTIFACT


Artifact is a unique item with special abilities. Each category of artifacts give you different effect. Artifacts have 4 categories and every category is responsible for the certain group of abilities.
Artifact must be installed in the special Book of Artifacts to activate its effect. Book of Artifacts equipment is available on level 100.

BOOK OF ARTIFACTS


Book of Artifacts is an item to place artifacts into. Book of Artifacts - level 1 can be purchased from Artifact Seller Alexandria (Giran) for 560.000.000 adena.
Book of Artifacts - level 1 equipment activates 1 slot for each of Attack, Defence and Support Artifacts and 4 slots for Balance Artifacts. All 7 equipped artifacts activate Book of Artifacts level 1 set effect.

ARTIFACTS INSTALLATION


When artifact is installed in Book of Artifacts, its name and effect will be shown. Artifacts are installed by double-click on it. List of installed artifacts can be seen in a separate tab.

ARTIFACTS ENCHANTMENT



Most artifacts can be enchanted. In order to make an enchantment click on the special button in your inventory. For the enchantment 4 artifacts of the same category are required.
Artifacts enchantment has a certain chance so it can fail even during +1 enchantment attempt. If enchantment fails all artifacts except the enchanted one disappear. If enchantment fails, level of artifact does not change.

ARTIFACT FRAGMENTS

Collect artifact fragments and trade it via NPC Alexandria (Giran) to get artifacts. Depending on fragments quantity trade may have a chance or be guaranteed. If trade fails, you get 5 fragments back.

- The following passive skills of Archers & Rogues have been changed:
Focus Skill Mastery
Changed: Skill Mastery Rate +400% → +100%.
Added: P. Skill Power +10%.
Superior Critical Mastery
Changed: Skill Mastery Rate +400% → +100%.
Added: P. Skill Power +10%, P. Skill Critical Rate +10%.
Superior Critical Arrow
Changed: Skill Mastery Rate +400% → +100%.
Added: P. Skill Power +10%, P. Skill Critical Rate +10%.

- Fixed an issue where the unused exchange options were displayed in the Eve's Card Shop list.

- The Aeore Healer's skill 'Balance Heal' can now override the Libra Agathion's skill 'Scale of Life' and vice versa.

- All the Paulina's R-grade equipment obtained from the 'Get back and claim your reward' event can now be destroyed upon death in chaotic state.

- Fixed an issue where the Sforzando Sting & Shield Charge skills were marked as 'Alchemy' instead of 'Active Skill' in skill tooltips.

- Fixed an issue where the description text of some items in the NPC exchange window slightly overlapped the item icon.

- The information about Crossbow/Dual Dagger resistance has been added to the description of Tersi's Guard Unique Ability skill (for not enchanted charms).

- The event setting 'Reduced cost of cancelling Dual/Sub Certification skills' is prolonged until August 29th. Hurry up to change your Dual/Sub Certification skills for 1 more week!
