If Innova really wants to try something to help Core have a future instead of being an empty wasteland, they need to just consider the brooch milking cow over and put a ridiculous 90% price reduction or something similar. Those little jewels create such an insane unbalance to the game that it is impossible for a new player to even try and advance themselves or compete in any way without being cannon fodder for the big boys. In my opinion even dragon weapons can be overcome, the same with artifacts/talismans/circlets/+10 or higher enchanted pvp sets. A good way to design the game would be like the abundance talismans. Each effect having a minimal boost compared to the first one, good enough for the biggest spenders to want the lvl4 for the best possible stats but good enough for anyone else to keep up with a lower lvl talisman. In that way brooches have completely failed because you either have level 6 or you dont exist. Before the lvl6 were implemented lvl5 jewels were amazing but still if you didnt watch out you could get destroyed by someone with lvl4,now with lvl6 that is not the case. Actually the power disparity is so high between lvl6 brooch jewels and anything else that even a player with 5 jewels lvl6 would be in an insane disadvantage to someone with 6 jewels simply because of the active. I dont know if thinking about l2 game design and ranting about it even matters since the developers' actions prove that they dont care to provide a fairer system. But now Innova might want to try and find a solution since they completely bleed players to the american servers.
Like EN is cocky now? Look at all EN puppets spamming forums, they were quiet a few months back. But both EN and TH missing the point, if 1 side completely falls behind, there is nothing to do for them except spam forums
