Server overload and PK problem

We came to play your server after you closed our other server Skelth.

1. its completly unplayable here, since we reach 60+ levels we are regullary Pked everyday sometimes every 20-30min doesnt matter what farm area we go. We dont have 20Euro everyday to spend to get experience back. SINCE DAYS WE LOSE MORE EXPERIENCE THAN WE GATHER!!!! we have more experience if we dont login.
We dont understand politics of this server why 85-86 LVL can kill 70+ player with thousands damage without any penalty or losing items and the buff for safety at GK work only until lvl 70.
Its not possible to get them even if we put 10.000Eur on our chars.

Its acceptable to be PK system without any consequences if we dont lose any experience, not the way we pay for powerups to lvlup and we must pay second time buying L-coins for get the experience back!
We dont get the point players that spend Months and/or many thousands Euros can kill new players without any consequences, its completly sick!

2. Server is overload its almost impossible to pass Fortress Battle, server status is heavy and there are coming random disconnects for our friends from all over the world. YOu should think about open new Essence server

I HOPE THIS TIME YOU WILL LISTEN PLAYERS OR YOU GOING TO KILL ANOTHER L2 PROJECT SOON, OFFICIAL SERVERS SHOULDNT BE CLOSED LIKE SKELTH!

 

To be clear we leave if you dont do anything and dont care about players, we dont want any gifts from you.

Just join RED server dude, there is tons of space for new players Why to open new server if one is full but second is always "light"? I play RED server, I think lots of players dont like me and I die like 2-3 times a day max Try RED

 

People will not join a server were gap between new and old is impossible to reach.
Just need to watch james videos to check wich kind of gear people have in red server due to free farm,and tbh is what server red deserve 0 new people since red players make impossible to play there.

Happened to core long time ago no1 were joining till ramona opened, then after few months they merge.

Since week the location PATRIOTS NECROPOLIS is completly closed by Prides.
They put his bots there on 3rd party programms and dont want nobody see it.
They put cameras on spawn and on ziggurat (about 5 camera chars)

Blessing of Protection doesnt work, you get PKed by character that is much more than you by 10 LVLs.

What Innova going to do with this?
If you wont stop the proceder, we are sure we leave.

 

Server lags 5s, potions delay, ss delay, servitor delay. Fix your server Innova buy more ram or something.

Still happening now, been there twice in last 2 days to be pk'd by Pride at the port spot, amazing really a game where you are constantly spammed by chat in aden selling adena and epics CONSTANTLY to the pms as soon as you port to the lock down of a whole xp area so some *@*hole can farm adena to SELL! wow @Innova perhaps a few GM's should log in for once and check it out. would denying a whole server axp area be a hindrance to game play?

For gods sake just do something about this nonesence for once!

 

Guys, juts put it autohunting and find something better to pass your time, all these stuff you are mention are the same since 2003, no really is not exaggeration. NC Soft and 4Game are known companies for poor handling and bad support, there were just very few moment that they shine but this was the exception.. peace and out..

 

@Warendo atleast aware new players about being pked 24/7. I made char on red server and i get pked even more than on blue.

They should deactivate the new global chat, dual box, and if needed, pet system, game experience/performance should be more important than secondary stuff, the game is unplayable now, and these are options which will fix now the issue till we find the way to bring these features back.

With this lag you already deactivated 2 main features
- Castle siege ( was no artifact last siege)
- Fortress siege ( today Greg didn't spawn in the 30 minuts ) Edit: spawned at 20:30 server time


So, at the end, you must choose which kind of features and server behaviour you want to maintain

Global and dual boxes are both not a issue. My guess is on the pet system. As people starts to gather more and more pets and to have them out for hunting and since we got server population increase, everything slowly went down to ****. Getting us to this point.

Now... they gave us a solution, which will be, for now, to more some volunteers from blue to red but that makes no sense:
1) Red is known for being a server with a side that PK daily and over and over so those who would move to the other side..good luck.
2) Blue is having a lot of lag even with server on NORMAL so the issue IS NOT due to over population. You can also see the following issue:
In town you can run w/o lag. You can spam next-target w/o problems. BUT if you try to run out of the safe zones, if you try to activate auto hunting OR to use skills, you will freeze.
And the freeze is weird cause...auto hunt will stop targetting mobs but you can still move and use hands to skills. Sometimes, tho, if you try to use skills, your char will stand there FOR WHOLE SECONDS (i died in pvp because of this today) unable to move BUT you will still be able to chat with 0 lag during that freeze.

So, imho, server transfert IS NOT the solution, it will only get things worse as it will drop population of blue server, increase the red one slightly and then, cause of PKers on red, those who moved will quit the game for good. So either you turn off any PK action on red server, either you allow players from red to jump back to blue after a set time ooor you we can say bb to the last project of L2 that managed to have a huge numbers of players.

 

So basically noone will be able to afk level anymore cause everyone will be PKed constantly, hence no point in playing essence

I partially agree with you, the lag started with the pet system but was affecting only the classes that are based on attack speed (reaching 1500 attack speed), at that point was more or less ok because was a minor lag, but, increasing the server population and the number of people with pets made it went worse, after the latest update, with this new global voice, the server became unplayable, so, somehow this is affecting the server performance.

So, even if this new global chat is not the root cause, is afecting somehow, and Innova should deactivate all the features that has been delivered in the last weeks + the known problem of dual box, which increase drastically the server population till they find a final solution

 

Mhh it's weird. I'm not sure about it.

Server is normal now, ad we lag a lot anyway.
Awakening server had global voice since ever and never experienced the same issue (once, and the reason was not the global chat).
Last siege we couldn't fight cause NPCs didn't spawn and we had no global yet there.

So the cause of the lag must have been something that facked up in the last restart...quite sure the reason is not the global. They might have just made an emergency maintenance and put down the server for 1h to try to see if that would resolve the issue, but ofc, it's not a L2Store or LCoin issue, so who cares, let's make the server unplayable for 1 week and give as "solution" to move into the red-dead server. That's like the worst idea ever.

Even cause if you think about it, blue is lagging and red is not, both servers got global...the only difference is in population BUT, again, even after restart and with normal server, everything is insane laggy so...

 

Half my clan quit already (casual PVE clan) and the other half will do soon. Server is back to normal population, not heavy anymore. Lots of players lost already. I think you can already say bb to this project. Even if they manage to fix the lags soon (big if) you will never have the same population as you had before messing up the server

 

Delays were before the last reset but smaller.
