i would like to show u some options to optimalize your game . u dont have many fps? your game is to slow? u dont have new computer . but you want play l2 so try maximalize your preferences . step 1 - by raptor - english version screens step 2 step 3 u can also download some programs to clean : other ideas from users : -by iskierek after taht your game should works better . if you have other ideas which help players send here
also i suggest to use gamebooster it help a lot. step 4 isn't recomended to use, and i doubt or you able do that here.
1. you could add step for amd duo core processors users to download duo core optimizier. it bumps fps for like 20-30 + for them. 2. next thing : start > services.msc > and deactivate ( turn off ) : themes ( the theme for windows) - yes it turns off the theme in windows, but gives 5-10 fps boost 3. windows tends to slow down when you have a lot of files in your desktop ( the files inside catalogues in the desktop counts too ). good thing is to put those files inside hdd drive, and only put shortcut into your desktop. it could improve your fps from 0 - 10 + , depends how much files you had on desktop. cheers
it would be well better to turn your pc language on english and then upload pics. now pics are useless.
step 1 screens from eng windows 7 http://i42.tinypic.com/kds4k1.png http://i41.tinypic.com/fmuuj5.png http://i40.tinypic.com/2803z7t.png (order of setting in drop down boxes differs from those on author's screen.....that's because my "global settings" are different) step 2 screen (control panel -> system and security -> system -> advanced system settings) http://i42.tinypic.com/ipwkkp.png
i wish like on private servers i could play around in the .ini's here aswell some settings are there that are not in options. sped up my loading of area's etc. so much.
and for those who have amd cpu/gpu download fusion program http://sites.amd.com/us/game/downloads/fusion-for-desktops/pages/overview.aspx
1. dual core optimizer is only required for windows xp users. 2. this is a good idea and will help! for vista/windows 7 disabling aero also gives 10-20fps more in game. 3. this is inaccurate, no fps will be added for hiding icons on the desktop. however, if you have a lot of icons on your desktop, you probably have a lot of programs on your computer, running a defrag will help a lot, right click c: drive (or whatever yours is) --> properties --> tools. should be in there somewhere. mathew.
dam what to do. i have a good comp a quad core 2,4 ghz total "9,6 total " 2gb ram ddr3 and a good nvidia video card and motherbord is good to if u see the componets , and still having problems cant play high rate i play assassin creed at full and have no problems. and btw i have wint 7 instaled.
can someone upload the .ini file after changing all graphic settings to the lowest? i'm unable to read encrypted .ini files at the moment. i don't know what's going on, but i can't even run the game. everything i get is black screen with sound of someone smiling :d. i've met this issue first time in lineage (but it's also my first time in h5). i'm in 70% sure it's fault of integrated gpu in the laptop which i'm using. the other 30% is... i don't get why i should install microsoft visual (i'm a programmer and i am using 3 different version of visual studio anyway) and run the game along with two different programs, non mention browser). looks like really unprofessional work to me. too much **** needed. changing one hundred things and installing next hundred, while running other hundred... doesn't it seems little troublesome? and by the way (this could be my last post ). you guys really should think about p2p client download possibility (torrent). browsers are really ****s.
+1 on that. imo, lineage 2 is really poorly coded (or sth, i'm no programmer). i have 16 gb of ddr3 ram, a hd 6850 @950mhz, a phenom 2 x6 @3.9ghz and an ssd, and i still dont get more than 10-15 fps with maximum settings in like aden when there are many ppl online. and when i monitor my hardware neither my cpu or gpu are near 100%. oh, and lineage can only use 1 core, thats another drawback. but still, its frekin fun to play, and i cant quit :d
it's not true... nc are using openmp technology to parallel rendering (emitters / actors / pawns actions and others for main calculation tasks) + os native multithreading... but you are rigth - it's poorly coded and very-very complex (old engine with many buggy modifications)
oh cool, i did not know about that! i've been monitoring the cpu when lineage is running and one core is at 80-90% load while the others are around 10-15%, so i still think lineage is really not good when it comes to taking advantage of the hardware, compared to games like bf3 where all cores are at the same load.
lol, l2 release date: october 1, 2003, bf3 release date: october 25, 2011. basically when l2 was made, if you wanted multicore cpu you've got to buy multi-cpu mobo:d good one, mate.
