[Guide Contest] The Ultimate Shillien Saint Guide. (Fluffy Reinforcement Update Edition)
    By RetributioN (Blue server)

    Class pros and cons

    Pros Cons
Sustainable in PVP/PVE but Weak against melee
Endless MP but WIT is lower than an Elf/Human
Can both Support and Attack but the damage is not as Big as an aggressive Class
    Stigma de-buff is HUGE

However, it is possible to adjust the class to be more PVP or PVE friendly, especially now with the new Fluffy reinforcement update. Making the PVP build, which we ‘l analyze later, will make the PVE slower and the opposite.

    Class leveling tips

At this point, we will ignore the lower levels in which the class can effortlessly follow the games story quests until level 55.
55-62: After reaching level 55 you should continue hunting in The Cemetery. The zone’s massive spawn rate and low HP of the monsters will make this spot ideal until reaching at least level 60.
62-67: At this point, you should hunt and also complete your quest for the Fields of Massacre zone. This zone’s monsters are divided in 3 leveling ranges from south, in which the monsters are weaker, to north, in which the mobs will be strong enough to hunt until 70.
67-75: The Patriot’s Necropolis. This will be your low-level haven. I would suggest you delaying your leveling in this spot, as the massive spawn rate of the monsters and the decent amount of Adena they drop, will give you a big boost in your 76+ experience.
76-82: The Devils Isle is a good hunting spot for low gear Shillien Saints, while if you’re looking something a little bit more challenging, you should try the Plains of the Lizardmen.
82+: The inner of the “Dragon Valley” will be your main hunting spot from now on. You will be able to kill monsters here earlier but I would not suggest this as the Plains of the Lizardmen will give you faster EXP points and Adena.
80+: Don’t forget to join the Orc barracks and the Antharas lair party zones. Your friends will need good gear to farm these places, but lucky you, your supportive skills will be needed here even without decent gear.
Completing the available instances daily will also give you a huge EXP boost and rewards.

    BE AWARE!!
As you hunt in the Devils Isle, the Plains of the Lizardmen, and the Dragon Valley you may encounter some events.
In Devils Isle there are treasure chests spawning in random location, find them after the announcement to get yourself a valuable treasure.
In Dragon Valley and the Plains of the Lizardmen you may encounter Atingo, the Pet Master. Killing him may reward you with a valuable companion if you are lucky. If you’re not, you can always enjoy some extra Enchants, B grade gear, and Sayha’s Blessings.

Before proceeding with the 2 builds, I’d like comment that special focus will not be given to the Brooches’ Jewels, Talismans and Agathions. The most basic ones are the Talismans like the Talisman of Aden, Talisman of Eva, Talisman of Speed, and the advanced ones, Talisman of Authority and Talisman of Baium. You should try to improve them all at times.

    The PVE Build

    Focus
Fast Attacks with lower defenses. The skill Vampiric Rage is all the defense this class needs in PVE.
    DYES
    1. WIT +4 MEN -4(or 5)
    2. WIT +4 MEN -4(or 5)
    3. WIT +4 MEN -4(or 5)

This way you will EXP faster and soon after 76+ you may enjoy the +40 WIT stat bonus with the +50 Magic Critical Rate.

    Armory
The Majestic Robe set will be a big plus with all the casting speed bonuses it provides. As the MP never ends, the faster you hit, the better. However, the beginners should start with the cheap Karmian or Avadon sets.

    Jewelry
Jewels are of not a big part of the PVE so you can focus on the others for now.

    Weapon
Any weapon will do, even a C grade. Our focus here is on WIT and therefore the magic critical rate. The attacks will not be as strong, but you will surely attack faster and with increased critical rate. Also do not waste your Runes in this weapon, as you will need them with your PVP one.
    Pet hunt
The Atingo hunt should focus on the Kookaburra and Hawk pet. These two companions will definitely assist you during hunting with their ranged attacks. They are also improved in the case of the Shillien Saint with the special buff of Prophecy of Wind. Close range pets will be of NO use, as you will be able to kill the monsters so fast, that they will not be able to reach them.

    The PVP Build

    Focus

A mix of a sustainable support and aggressive attacker.

    Dyes
    1. CON +4 STR -4(or 5)
    2. CON +4 STR -4(or 5)
    3. CON +4 STR -4(or 5)

This way you will have more HP/CP and therefore more time to react and heal yourself.

    Armory
The Majestic set would be a good start. But you need to go on with the Lightning set. Light armor may sound strange, but you will definitely see the difference in PVP with its extra defenses. The Gloves of Silence, Boots of Evasion, and Helmet of Mana are additional top gear which you ‘l earn in time, but you will already be able to hold yourself in a fight before that point.

    Jewelry
You now need good jewelry. The Majestic set is a good start. Then try improving them little by little with the Dragon Valley Earring or Tower of Insolence Ring. If you are lucky, you may craft yourself a Boss jewel.

    Weapon
Your best friend will be the Ant Queen Breaker. But before you reach there you can try the Daimon Crystal. This is a reachable top weapon for the mage class. With the addition of the Sigel Rune for bonus HP, and the Iss Rune for Casting Speed you will also get the Casting Speed you lost from the CON dyes back.

    Pet Hunt
The Atingo hunt should focus on the Strider pet. This companion will be of huge help when taking part in PVP. Its ability to knock enemies down will not only give you time to heal yourself, but also time to de-buff your enemy and hold your range. The Strider pet is a must for the PVP experience.

    Useful 1v1 tip:
Hold your ground by rooting-healing-attacking. Do not let the enemy come close to you.

    ENJOY, GL&HF :Thumbsup::Thumbsup:

If you have patience, late-game EE is more OP. You will farm slower because you don't have Rapid Recharge. But the extra WIT the class has will make it way easier to get Stat-bonuses than the SE. You will although need Anakim 6.

Farm by using Might of Heaven/Divine Strike/Fireball in a row so you will have time to regenerate MP.
