halp!

ok, i tired to make that "live - pts" thing, the pts folder started to update but i got bored of waiting and i wanted to go back to live. guess what: i couldnt. by mistake i deleted the live client and the pts one. the problem now is i cant reinstall live client, it always trying to update the pts client. what should/can i do?

well, again. run "live.reg", after that run as administrator (by right-clicking on file) "live.bat". then refresh l2.eu website and press update. do you still have lineage2 client at all?

so how do you know that it is trying to update "pts" lineage2?

moreover, you can try to uninstall "4game" from your computer so in that way you will be sure that you will download old god harmony client.

 

coz if i right click on the yelow icon it says: lineageii eu pts (67%)

 

doesnt matter what the folder say u can change that and u say u dont have your first, so ofc it will update the pts one. if u rename it to l2 korea wont mean u download koreans server which bat u run before updating? if was live u download live, if is pts then u download pts. easy

 

lets assume im updating pts now. how do i get my old harmony back?

 

close the update and browser. run live.bat as administrator and it will download the live server.(because u deleted it).
ps. rename the folder deleting pts so u dont get confused.

 

i did what you said, etherial, but when i open browser im still on pts, coz it says "play"not install or something. so, pls tell me step by step wtf i should do, coz im kinda slow

 

try to run "live.reg", then as administrator "live.bat". then create a new directory on your computer "lineage 2 old" or something. open up l2.eu website, on the div box of "play" button press the settings icon on top-right corner, choose "path to files" and select your newly created "lineage 2 old". hopefully, might be helpful
