    hello!
i have a problem to update the game.
the downloader on site doesn't work for me (doesn't download required files).
check4game tool says, i need 3 files, but when i try to download them, there is some error. everything you can check on the pic:

    http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/441/probleml2.jpg/

when i try to start the game without that files, it crashes and says: gameguard error 153.
more info that could be useful:
    windows xp with sp 3
eset nod 32 antivirus (i have already made exceptions for l2 folder/files/frostupdater as it was written in the guide)

please help me to solve this problem :)

this solution comes from ncsoft support, have you tried it?

    gameguard errors 120, 121,122, 123, 124, 141, 150, 153, 154, 170, 390, 610, and 620

this error indicates that there is an issue with the gameguard files.
please try deleting the gameguard folder.

    • first, locate your lineage ii folder (the default location is c:\program files (x86)\ncsoft\lineage ii). in the 'system' folder, there is a subdirectory titled gameguard. delete the gameguard folder, and re-launch lineage ii. let it re-download these files, and then start the game.

gg is not used, it's blocked by frost.. so if frost is not properly started, gg is "live" again.
maybe your frost update is blocked by parental control in nod or you have not access to frostsecurity.net due to connection or dns issue.

    please check
    1) parental control (exclusions)
    2) hosts-file
    3) dns request to frostsecurity.net via nslookup utility
