Awakening system reworking Official korean poll.

nam gung-gon, the creator of tauti update and a member of the korean joint production deparment, asked the korean lineage ii players how they want the class system to be reworked.

the korean players can choose between 4 options :

option 1 - blue bar : keep the current awakening system, and add more diversity due to racial traits
option 2 - red bar : keep the current awakening system, but let the players being able to learn again 3rd class skills (nothing about 2nd class skills)
option 3 - green bar : divide the awakened classes again into 34 different classes
option 4 - yellow bar : add diversity by creating new classes.

anyway we will not see this on innova in next 25 years.

 

my pc cant read asian geroglyphics...however,after a fast check seems i was right all over and even koreans would just jump back away from god update to the massive variety classes system.
what surprises me is that ncsoft asked such a question,about time they came to the thoughts i had 3 years ago?

 

i wander what will happen to my dorf spoiler... as we have seen they removed spoil from game (or you have to spoil 1000 mobs to get 1 key). so it will be pretty useless char. low dd and not good for money... i will start to qq from now :d

 

returning to 34 classes and 9 party system would be a disaster for the server population...

 

option 3 is cool maybe sadistic but i miss toons of class and their toons of skills and waiting while buffing 12312312 hours in hi5

 

you meant "another disaster like the change from 9 to 7 and the destruction of the previous lineage 2 community in the latest garbage update"?
and with server population you meant "after truly free magical introduction and the great move of splitting the already dying western community"?

well sh1ny,i'd be surprised if it would be different,since such changes been made up in korea for kr players.

just prooves once more the road the game conception is taking and how its decline is irreversible.
the key point is to have them actualy facing this matter (they dont even consider the western market) on their own shoes,with their times gettin to our same conclusions,anyway.

 

what ****ed about the 34 classes was that you needed very specific party setups for different places if you wanted to exp/farm efficiently. i remember trying to make hellbound party for 5 hours and at the end, when i was missing only a goddamn sws, the tank went to sleep. those days were fun, but they're gone for good. if it's the right choice or not, only time will tell, but i don't think the game decline is irreversible. just as always the na/eu markets are poorly advertised ( in comparison with other games ) and right now the game is still in a transitional state, where stuff changes every few months, so new players will have hard time grasping and adjusting. anyway, balancing 8 classes will be way easier than balancing 34, because in the long run, this was the biggest failure of l2.

i wonder if you do,since i doubt you ever played this game before it went f2p....
and the state of eu/na servers before lolgod was 100 times better than what is now.
there is a reason if most of the former l2 players quitted this game before or right after god,however im not pretending you'd able to understand it.

 

yes and they merged all the servers because they had to many ppl lol

 

i refered to after merge,you to prior it.
luna born dead,so its w/e.
franz lived out his cycle
teon was always as fine,and after the merge it still been the eu main community.
naia had the best l2 community for a while after the merge,in terms of clans,parties and activity that not even going f2p with the latest "great" update could get it back.

and again,for the 99th time:
god didnt brought players,f2p did.
in the meanwhile,for various reasons,in short time the game chase away most of its original playerbase.
now the game in the western market is dead.

so im asking how can you even try to convince yourself that god was anything else than the worst update lineage 2 ever had.

 

worst update was gracia final idea that one kamael can hold whole pt stunned is freaking ******ed.and actually most of hardcore players left game long way before goddes of destruction update they had 85 full stacked chars for years gained numerous of heroes etc there was nothing left to do some of them grew up some still lives with parents in their basements *cough zairak cough*.

why dont they just give ppl an option to choose from older chronicles and after they choose one to put up some servers with that?
i bet a lot of ppl would flood those servers instead of getting bored with this new l2.
and they will still make money.
