it still dont work, you should feel very bad for how bad suport you are, windows 8 was released 2 months ago...

 

it doesn't work out of the box. there's still a gameguard error when logging in. however, this error has been fixed recently on na l2, so it shouldn't be a big problem.
i mean that innova's part involved on windows 8 support is now fixed. only a gameguard update is required now.

btw, i can't blame innova for not supporting windows 8, since it's officially launched on market on 26 october.

thats false,26 oct its released on stores, its on online since 15 august and upgrade since 24

also! even on developer preview they could do the works since its released exactly for that, for developers (in this case innova) to develop their programs, they just didnt did it because they are lazy. there's not such as a real excuse for that, they just didnt want to do it, cause they didnt give a ****

i cant play, my pc is broken and i can only play on my laptop wich is windows 8 and i wont do a downgrade just for play l2

 

so still not working, gj innova, you did it again, when you install the update you will expect us to kiss your feet but we will spit in your face like with mentor, probably you will still guess why? you did nothing wrong!! (sarcasm, sheldons may do not get it)

however i get disconnected every time i try to login. openning the game again reports account is already logged in.

appart from that, there are some "/frost" and "/system" files that aren't correctly downloaded on windows 8 (checksum error/file not found). to get the client to work i had to transfer those files from a windows 7 pc with pts client.

please, calm down. this isn't the appropiate way for requesting support.

live server was also updated to v1.2.4.22. however, l2.exe is closed after frostsecurity is loaded. i don't understand why it works on pts but it doesn't on live :$...

frost compatible with w8 builds (8400 preview / 9200 rtm) after my post at 11.09 (on pts and after release on live too).
all 4game projects with w8 compatibility are working fine ecxept uncompatible lineage2 build (on na not the same build with us).

so, live servers are wating for client update (not frost, it's ok) and nothing more. i'm afraid i can't help on this stage.
