Problem with Fate's whisper

hello, i was doing sub class quest fate's whisper and in the last part where i was suppose to give master reorin b-grade weapon encountered a problem: even though it wasn't mentioned in quest that i cannot give him bound item he does not accept my bound damaskus sword. is there any way to change which weapon i should give to reorin or persuade him into taking damaskus i already have?

 

because it can't be bound weapon but only a full one. the easiest way was always sls*sls dualsword.

 

and what if it'd be unidentified? well i found this a bug because:
*it wasn't mentioned in quest text
*there is no way to find it out untill it's too late
*there is no way to change weapon you should bring him.

 

not a bug at all.
this quest is older than bound items. almost everybody has got sub this way. so, please, don't tell us is a bug.
i have done this quest qith 3 chars, so it couldn't be so difficult to achieve.
what do you have to do?
1. get a real top b weapon (dual blades is the usual and fastest way and the way i did it the three times), or
2. open unidentified weapons till you are lucky enough to get a real weapon instead a bound one. many people did this too.

 

you can also wait till glory days update, when top b weapon is no longer needed. but the quest will be at lvl 85, not at 75 like now.
