Problem with DirectX - game not start.

every time when i press 'play' button on game site, game need to update directx, i press 'next', 'next', there is a text 'on your computer there is a the same version or better of directx' etc., but in polish language. i have directx 10 on xp (lol?), i delete it many times but 4game instalator instal it every time, and game dont start. who can help?

i have the same problem. i haven't played in the past 3 months. i updated my client and the directx setup always starts but the game not. i also have modded directx 10 on xp. any ideas?

didnt you claim in this topic that you've solved that issue?

as far as i know the windows xp offically supports directx 9.0c and directx 10 is a vista's one which is modified for winxp. this usually causes errors because its not for this kind of system.

there is a guide how to do it in quick way. then install directx 9.0c

sorry for bumping but this problem is still not solved, i also have this issue, i reinstalled directx back to 9.0c but the launcher still thinks i have other version

what i did regedit, instead of deleting directx folder i edit those two strings, coz if you do it will break directx and won't install at all, and installed directx as the launcher suggested, but still says need to install directx 9.0c

 

do you have x32 or x64 os?

yes i edited exact same info as in this reg file, that i found somewhere in the guide, but after running this reg still same problem launcher still thinks i dont have directx 9.0c, i think there are files left over from directx 10, that causes this problem, but not sure
