Issues launching game

then how u explain this - innova not runs on turned-off firewall and antyvirus?
pls. stop teaching me about firewall

imho frost not working properly.
no aplication can block this becouse security was switched-off for a while...

 

having these exact same problems, cannot even launch the game. this is very dissappointing from an "official" server.

please fix asap!

 

i'm getting this kind of message when trying to run client. i don't speak russian so anyone can tell me if i have some fixable problem, or just need to wait for an update? tried also with windows defender, microsoft firewall and microsoft security essentials turned off, and running as administrator but no help. also, website doesn't show me "play" button, just "install" even tho i have client installed via 4game client to c:/program files/4game/lineage2eu which is default location.

same problem here. using comodo internet security. but can't be firewalls fault, coz it still doesn't work after turning all firewall activity off.

logging in on page -> play -> "beta test liscense" accept -> commando line shows up -> blue bar loading -> l2 "loading..." splash shows up -> closing and nothing happens
starting l2.exe manually in system folder -> l2 splash -> frost splash -> frost loading and error message same as post above at 0% frost loading progress -> l2 starts with black screen and closes after some seconds

i use windows vista home and firefox 8.0. newest ie doesn't work either. the problem existed at open beta stage too so nothing was fixed. please fix coz a lot of ppl have this problem and can't play at all. thanks in advance.

 

can you try this: log off, log in, turn off not activity but your full antivirus system. and then through the page launch l2.

hmm, okey this needs to be clear cause i dont see an option "logging in on page -> play -> "beta test liscense" accept" - i dont see beta test liscense then i press play its loading game. what launcher version you got?

reinstalling windows seems to be fixed the problem. you can close this topic.

 

i have fixed this problem by receiving an already updated frost and replacing it in my game. however, a new problem arises now. after launch (with a horribly low resolution) i get directed to the server choice screen with only core being there. i cannot click any of the buttons, if i press enter i get disconnected and a game guard error shows, which i cannot read as the game closes a second later. if i just wait doing nothing i get a gameguard-601 error and the game goes off. anyone?

 

do you run game via web brower?
edit: sry i just read you did. you can't run game via l2.exe

check path to game and try reinstall 4game with path to l2eu (notice you have 2 path: to 4game and to l2)

 

1) i always try to run via browser by 'play' button.
2) i will not reinstal windows becouse innova... too many documments and settings...
3) reinstallation 4game launcher not solved the problem.

symptoms:
- click on play button
- black window of 4gameservice appears for the moment
- frost loading bar appears for the moment
- picture of frost back.bmp appears for split seccond
and nothing happened...

anybody have this bug ?
why the game working on 3.dec on my comp and after that is this bug..... i dont understand it.....

 

does your frost folder have any files? for me, downloading an updated frost version helped: http://www.2shared.com/file/bsk5wfxv/frost.html however after that i still have game guard issues, as described here: https://forum.4game.com/showthread.php?t=1486

 

yes, frost folder have all needed files,
after reinstalation frost and 4game (again),
no change,
still not working,
still the same symptoms.
looks like everything remain to do is to register on ncsoft and play there with a bit of lag sometimes and sieges in the middle of the night ;-) ncsoft working normally, it indicates a problem with frost on my comp, but why? i don't know... :|

 

doesn't help here. still same problem. game doesn't start and i won't reinstall windows.

 

problem solved. deinstall comodo and use sth else. don't know why but comodo isn't compatible with innova, maybe it's fixed in future, would be nice.
