ncwest client files are different to innova client files in slight ways and this can mean that sometimes they will get an issue that we dont and visa versa or that we all have the same problem so unfortunately that strategy is not effective.

after reading a few hours on all kind of different forums i realized in how deep **** we are.
this problem dates from 19-12 was fixed by one guy that got banned for it. now a huge riot and rage is going on in the community.

there are some claims that the official statement from ncsoft will be that they dont support windows 8, but this might be just another fat rummor. faktum is that we can not do anything as players to put any pressure on ncsoft. i do not know how your service level agreement with ncsoft is but i will suggest u simply stop paying them until they stop ****ting on there customers.

i hope u guys can take some action on behalf of the people on this server, because this is taking insanly long for a very simple problem (rollback to the working version)

listen windows 8 will be a basic opearation system soon so in my opinion nc soft should resolved this issue becouse in future many ppl will be on win8.

 

still no fix...omg i wann play with windows 8

 

@pankracy - we are all awared windows 8 will be another world wide system operation but it's not our fault this patch has made players unable to play lineage ii using this sort of windows.

@treevor - unfortunately this kind of typing is not helping us. report has been sent to korea and all we can do is wait for their response as it was already explained several times.

 

windows 8 dont work game

hi. i have question. i bought new pc with windows 8. i downloaded game and now its dont work. i press play and then is nothing.... i dont know what to do... i checked files and etc...
meybe this game dont work on windows 8 ;d?

now when i press play something downloading then i see lineage icon with words 'loading' then this icon disapear and all.... game still dont start..... please help me

its not possible to play lineage ii at the moment on windows 8 due to some malfunction in last patch. it has been reported and we wait for fix. you can follow this topic. i close this one.

 

razzly i wa stoday trolling us forums about patch some guy posted respond from his ticket from nc soft. he told that they are still fixing it but dunno when they finish that. us l2 servers have problems since 19..

 

thats nice... ;d i bought new pc for this game :d with win 8 and i cant play it ;d ya... gratz ;d and the worst i cant use in this pc win7 or other c***p.. :/ now i need play again with old pc... omg..

dear users,

there are no time frames for a fix, that is down to the korean developers, we can only wait as you do. when we get any information it will be announced.

@choppie: a rollback is not the answer as each week the rollback will be needed again and there will be other vital fixes etc that will keep being lost due to a rollback, this is never a solution to anything.

@pankracy: that is moot point, it doesnt matter if its a global system or not, it is the game developers choice to support an os with their games or not.

 

i wont suprise if they announce msg like" we wont support os win8" after few weeks...i am thinking about re installing os (pathetic step)

 

if you're a little more skilled in i.t. you can install virtual win7 which is free to use. all you need is virtual pc program and then download a win7 copy (i think it was free of charge).

 

this is sad.

the game works on several hacked servers but ncsoft cant fix it.

i hope u have a good compensation in mind cause u are testing my patience to the maks.

well, all depends on your pc spec. you can optimize your system to be quick at the cost of quality and then put all possible resources to the virtual machine.

besides, you dont need to dl win7. i think you can dl win xp 32bit aswel and it weight less.
