How to update (solution, without site)

1. this method don't work to everybody but most of my clan members (~95%) download update <:
2. uninstall your 4game program
3. install your lineage2eu-4game.exe
4. and w8 for auto check files <: (aka update)

how can u install the 4game exe without application? am i missing something?

 

if you restart it it should update itself. i dont think uninstall is necessary. at least wasnt for me. i had to uninstall c++ runtime aparently because the new launcher uses an older one and detected a newer runtime installed by the previous 4game... i am not sure it applies to all ppl since i have xp and not many have this os anymore.

even if u download the client we cant log until site is fully functional

 

yes, but ppl can skip a step, because the updater asked me to close all browsers. if they update offline and then get the page up, can enter. otherwise will have to close browsers and lose the page so they start again effiving.

wait a while and click download at bottom of the page.

 

when i click on update, nothing happens, after a while, it open a cmd windows and instantly closes it

i just tested it, it works! launcher re-installed + updated.

but we still need to wait the site to login...

okok ; now it works for me also , selecetd where my l2 folder is installed , but it now started downloading the f client again? will it actually realise l2 is installed?

edit : nvm 4game stopped downloading
