IMPORTANT Getting disconnected at Olympiad? See the info!

    Dear players!
    We're seeing that many of you are experiencing a disconnection problem when moving to the Olympiad. We understand that this issue has an extremely negative impact on gameplay, almost removing a part of the important content from the game. To find out the cause of the problem and fix it as soon as possible, we need your help. You can do this by recording a network log during the disconnection from the game when moving to the Olympiad. Don't worry! It won't take much time, but it will greatly help us and the NCSOFT developers to finally solve the annoying problem.


    Here are a few steps that you need to go through to record a log and send it to support.
    1. Download, install and run the Wireshark utility. Here is a guide with screenshots on how to use the program: https://eu.4gameforum.com/threads/672419/
    2. Download and run the 4game_supp utility: https://eu.4gamesupport.com/downloads/files/4game-supp
    3. Select all interfaces in Wireshark and start traffic logging (see the guide in step 1).
      If you don't have any interface in Wireshark, you should re-install Wireshark along with the npcap component.
    4. In the 4game_supp utility, select the project (EU -> Lineage 2 Essence), select your server and click on the MTR button. The trace route will start logging.
    5. After the game will disconnect and the disconnection message will popup, click the OK button to close the game client.
    6. Stop Wireshark capturing and save the file (see the guide in step 1).
    7. In the 4game_supp utility, click the Stop button to stop logging. Then click the Save button.
    8. Click the "Trace" button. When the utility finishes tracing, click the Save button.
    9. Zip all the files you've got and attach the resulting archive to the Support ticket.

    Additional Notes:
    1. Do not uncheck the npcap component during the Wireshark installation.
    2. It's recommended to start capturing while in a single box (window), extra logged boxes create unnecessary traffic, it makes analysing harder and longer.
    3. If the archive is too large and you can't attach it to the ticket, please upload it to any file hosting service and share the link in the ticket. Wireshark logs can be quite large (sometimes 500 MB and more).
